I saw that movie with my father when I was a 10 and never forgot it. Saw it again last week at 45 years old and it was even better. A masterpiece, a 10. Hope you got around to see it.
The Author of this Magnificent Music is Ennio Morricone, from Roma, Italia (who gained 2 Oscar and 5 Nominations).
All these instruments voices chores noises are HIS inventions.
I am going to Copenhagen, Denmark to see this, and other works, in August. Can't say how much I am looking forward to hearing it live.
On my bucket list as is 2Cellos which I will be scratching off the list 4/10/22.

You absolutely have to watch the movie: that's a masterpiece. Leone, the art director, and Morricone, the composer, were really two geniuses and the main actors (Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach, Lee Van Cliff) were outstanding. Greetings from Rome, Leone and Morricone's city!
No she doesn't have the easiest job, on other pieces she is the singer. She is a metzosprano. Very specialised and talented.

Listen to the other concerts of this orchestra, Tuva SIMUNGSEN is an international level mezzo-soprano, she knows how to do something other than wha wha. However, since this concert everyone calls her LADY WHA WHA and she is delighted, it amuses her a lot.
The chrome pipes are called chimes. I used to play them when I was in the percussion section of the orchestra and wind ensembles during high school and college.
The silver tubes the dude is hitting with a hammer are orchestral chimes. Something that I didn't realize for a while is that the soprano Christine Anderson is not amplified, that's her natural voice filling that venue. Seriously impressive!

The guy hanging from the ceiling is an orchestra member who missed too many notes. Just kidding. There are a lot of scenes in the movie where people have nooses around their necks, although only one where someone actually dies.
It's one of the greatest movies ever made. It's as good as this music, which you can see is very great.

The production is excellent, following the singers and musicians during the playing.
The story in the film is about a man bringing a criminal to be hanged, for a bounty, and this is why the hanging man!
The part you mentioned being sampled by a rapper is also used by Metallica before they take the stage for their concerts. It is called "Ecstasy of Gold".

In the movie Clint and his cohort had a scam going . Clint would turn his cohort in for the bounty and when they hung him Clint would shoot the rope in two . They would escape and move onto the next town . And do it again .

What you saw was a cardboard cutout of a person that was hanged, based upon promotional artwork for the film. Early in the film, Clint Eastwood's and Eli Wallach's characters had an ongoing scam. Wallach's character was wanted for murder. Eastwood's character would turn him in for the reward money. When Wallach's character is about to be hanged, Eastwood's character uses a rifle shot to split the rope, and then he shoots at the town's leaders, then he rides in on horseback to rescue Wallach's character and ride out of town. Later, they split up the reward money.

Yes, the silhousette in the circle that is projected on the wall represents Clint Eastwood. The hanging man represents the hangings in the movie. Watch the movie to understand that!! LOL. The movie is called The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. It is a classic. FYI: The "wah wah" lady is a classically trained vocalist who certrainly can sing. The wah wahs she does in this performance are precision - just like every thing else, along with her whistling. She is not a chump. Shame on you for your lack of respect for her in this performance. Also, the "lady who was in the audience" as you called her - who did some solo work - was part of one of the choruses in the performance. She was not in the audience. Jeez.

IT'S CALLED A PROP FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE--this is such an amazing song and video and it's COMPLETELY RUINED by reactors who don't understand what A PROP IS!! OMG!! For every reaction to this video when the reactor doesn't catch on that the "hanging man" is a prop, I'm done--the rest of the reaction video is ruined.
