TPMvids omg thx for liking my comment btw ❤️ your channel :3
TPMvids there's an amusement park I live near and every single wall of rides there has so much gum on it it's disgusting
LOL
As someone that was a former Cast Member at Disney World through the Disney College program, those underground tunnels was the best idea Walt had. There is also a Subway restaurant down there for the Cast Members and a salad bar and hot grill. Also, there is a beauty salon so that the Face Actors; which are Snow White, Cinderella, etc, to get their wigs and make up done. There is a small game room down there near the door to Main Street. Another secret is how Cast Members get to the Magic Kingdom entrance for them. Cast Members have their own parking lot and there is a bus we would take from West Clock that would bus us over to the Cast Member entrance to the underground tunnels.
Isatu Mansaray WOAH.sHo0k
I worked on Main street last fall.. how did i miss the game room? Lol
Wow that’s awesome
Now I wanna be a wdw character
When I used to work at the Magic Kingdom In 80s and 90s the cafeteria was a full functioning restaurant. We had a grill, entree line, salad bar and speciality bar. On paydays on Thursday we used to get 6oz prime rib dinner for five dollars. They served breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The tower of terror doesn't drop you. According to the Engineer that built it, it works by a spring pulling you down faster than gravity and is much safer than people think.
That's right, just not a spring. It's a pulley system, with a motor that pulls you down faster than you would fall with gravity.
Oh thank god for that. Five years ago I was with my cousin and when the tower dropped she went to the position that you would do if the elevator was actually dropping. :P
Mike Blake NodzUyu
Well that's good I think it would bounce a bit
Mike Blake it would put you on the roof if your without seatblelt
Hahahaha the 'scooters and strollers' part got me 😂
Hey Rachel
Hey Rachel... Lucy Vlog and Art wants to know if your a genuine grill. 'Kay thanks! MUWAH💋
Me to
@@Tyler-f00k1n what are you talking about
You’re a loser
Instead of going to Disneyworld over the summer, I spent my time watching videos ABOUT Disneyworld because I'm that broke
Sigh... me too.
ZooerTheFreaky Finally some who understands
ZooerTheFreaky I don't live in a country that has Disneyland 🙁
Same that's legit what I'm doing
ZooerTheFreaky Oh well if you move to somewhere near it you wouldn't have to pay as much because of travle
As a former Jungle Cruise skipper, it technically isn’t a track, but a trough. Looks like a martini glass, which gives the boat the natural rocking motion. The skipper does control the boat (forward, back, neutral), but doesn’t steer. It’s a pain because each boat was different!! Some more finicky than others. Jungle is also one of the few areas on ground level. :3
And to add, in Liberty Square, you’ll find a tree with lanterns. There are thirteen lanterns, one for each of the original thirteen colonies. Each lantern is made by craftsmen in that state, so if one were to break, it must be sent back to that state to repair.
That & 13's association with superstitions, which is part of haunted mythos (raises eyes towards the grim, grinning HAUNTED MANSION nearby, with its ethereal grandfather clock with 13 hands & built-in demonic face).
Biggest secret: Go right when the park opens, then leave for lunch, have a nap and go back for evening/night. Can't stress this enough! Enhances your experience so much, especially with small kids
My family did that when we went over the summer and it was such a good decision. It gives you time to relax or go to the pool to cool down from the summer heat
PREACH!! As a cast member I tell this to guests all the time, the middle of the day is the worst: lines are long, everyone’s hot and tired, and your kids are cranky. People wait in 2 hour lines when if you just go in the morning and at night rides are basically walk-on!!
I wish my family had done that when I went
PREACH GURL PREACH!! IT'S THE BEST IDEA EVER
~ Yes! Go when it opens and when you get in....head toward the farthest place and work your way back at lunch. Most folks go in and immediately get starstruck on Main Street.
Is it weird that my grandma knows where every bathroom at Disney World is? I'm not even kidding it's hilarious 😹
Smart.
That’s my family too!🤣
NOICE😬😬😬😬😬im American but like talkin' like other peeps☺
LOL
6:33 "Just try not to run into strollers and scooters." And the music stops lmao😂
We are Disney fanatics. Thank you for telling us little facts that we would have not even noticed. To anyone reading this have a magical day sprinkled with pixie dust.

As someone who worked Custodial for 6 months at EPCOT during a college program run... the gum thing is 100% true. We're all over that if we see it.. and carry anti-gum materials on us to scrap it up.
Fury283 a few days ago at Epcot someone stuck gum in my hair
whats up! I myself also used to be a custodial cast member at EPCOT for the college program! glad to see someone else who did the exact same thing as me. I was in Future World.
but i watched a disney vlog and someone got gum stuck under their foot 😱 Oh well, i'm not dissing Disney, i love disney!!
“Next time you visit your local theme park”
I live literally 15 minutes away from Walt Disney World.....
It’s is my local park
Now I'll touch everything green I see...

The smells from the rides now come in candles to buy. I use the confectionery one all the time. It smells just like candy and sweets!
Just started watching TPMvids today and I am blown away! The quality of these videos and the narration could easily be on a televised show. Well done and entertaining.
Thanks so much! Appreciate that Jackson! Enjoy!
TPMvids just subscribed to you today with the bell on
I know so much about Disney now from watching your videos!
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
That's why we need TPM Vids
The American flag fact blew my mind but the fact that I really appreciated was the sewage trail in Liberty Square because I have ALWAYS wondered what the random path was for.
“Very shallow” “Only about 5ft deep”
Hears this being 5 foot even 🤦🏽♀️
5ft deep *at the most*
@Waffles Plus, there was that known death featuring two boys missing the last ferry from Tom Sawyer's Island/Pirate's Cove back to the mainland, so they decided to swim the man-made Rivers of America to get to the other side & wound up getting sucked up/crushed by the controlled current of the dingy moving water and force from the hidden suction piping found in the engineered river.
7:22 lmao, Disney trash...and we aren't referring to people. hahaha
Drew R ikr😂😂😂BURNNN!!!!
Where is PUSH when you need the little fella lol
I just got roasted😆
Huh?
Hahaha😂😄😁😊
Anyone smell the burning library on spaceship earth?
What?
Yes. And I love it!
Bricks and stones may break my bones but Disney land can’t hurt me
The one that got me was the groundwork in Liberty Square and the different colored "trail" to represent the sewage that would have run down the streets. Gross but amazing detail. Thanks for your vids. I have been to Disneyland and DCA but have yet to make it to WDW. Hopefully in the fall around Halloween I will go. Went to CA last Oct for the Halloween Celebration. Went to Mickey's Halloween Party - had a blast and left with more candy than i used to get trick or treating as a kid!
Fascinating and fun! Thanks for these interesting snippets and facts. Loved it!
I'm eating popcorn!!
These were actually really cool thanks for sharing!
I'm going to DisneyWorld in August so watching videos about it to get me more excited😬❤️
Alice T It does help to learn as much as you can before going. I did the same thing before we went in June.
Sammeee
The garbage cans are weird at Disney so my little sister couldn't find the hole so she just opened the door and put the cup in there :P
When I was 10 years old back in the 1980s I took a tour under the Magic kingdom :) I remember the walls of the tunnels were painted ( with pictures) to represent the part of the park you were walking through. They were color coated to help those that were not from the US and or colored blind ( or those that had a hard time reading) to know where they were. :)
That sounds so cool!
6:34 is so funny
diana campbell IKR
diana campbell IM LAUGHING SO HARD FROM IT
diana campbell I AGREE! Its hilarious!!!
I was literally doing LOL
diana campbell I really want you to be sarcastic
And it’s a loooong walk to Main Street from the beginning of the tunnels
Since I live in Florida, I have gotten the chance to do Holiday Enhancement, which means that my chorus group went to a few Disney Resorts and sang during the holidays. A lot of their resorts have tunnels similar to the ones in the parks! It’s pretty cool.
“And we aren’t referring to people.” That cracked me up...
My favorite fact was the Sellitzer!
the changing the color of the water.actually all were very interesting!
Cool! As a big WDW fan, I learnt lots of new facts about the parks. Thanks for the great video!
The castle scale building technic was the most interesting to me. I also like the go away green and the trash can locations. Thanks for the video.
#TPMCREW
YOU ROCK MAN!
I remember going on the stitch ride and having chilidog burped in your face. Everytime we came back to the center of the park we would smell chilidog. Wasnt the most appetizing thing lol.
Agreed. It was gross and I had to avoid any place that sold them.
6:33 XD I can't stop laughing
I love Disney and I'm a Disney Passholder😃👍💖
JasmineTVofficial me too!!
Next Can You Do Top 10 Parade Or Ride Fails
6:33 hahahah
You know it's true 😉
LOL
The gum thing is the best thing for me! Every time I visit a different park; I’m always lamenting the gum everywhere...especially in the rides! Thank you Disney Custodial Staff, you are truly overworked and under appreciated! One of my favorite parade pictures was of the “pooper scooper” following the horses. That gentleman was making the best out of a literally crappy job! He got his own page in my scrapbook from that trip!
Hundreds of visits as past teen employee through my Oakridge HS in the 70s; and as I had my own family enjoyed together. Disney is never too much to enjoy. Have fun. Love it.
Do one of these types of videos for Epcot and animal kingdom! Very interesting
I love your vids! Keep it up!
Thanks for watching!
TPMvids I like it too
I saw a video about the poop detail too
I knew all of these facts (just because I really enjoy researching Disney & watching videos) and I still REALLY enjoyed this video, he is so well spoken and makes each fact flow so well into the next that it is just awesome! I love this channel!
An interesting fact about Disney World, (probably Disneyland too) is the security situation in place. It is quite something. Also, I am always amazed at the traffic flow driving in and out of Disney World. I think whoever designed it should be designing roadways across the USA. It's wowsome!!!
I knew about the tunnels and I've always wanted to go in them!
Alexa Hamila they are trash tunnels! Why?
you can do a tour called keys to the kingdom and see them :) - ex MK cast member
Also they're not really that great, they're literally just concrete hallways that smell like machinery
Going there next week!!!!!!
deepdishdino have fun there ;)
going there June 15 ! yeeyee
deepdishdino did you enjoy?
I thought I knew all of the major secrets to Disney...but I'm super happy to realize I'm always learning new things. Great video!!
Omg I've noticed the smell thing. Every time my sisters and i went on the pirates of the Caribbean ride it STUNK
Thoughtful Av That is the smell of happiness and wonder.
Technically, the Utilidor is not a tunnel system, since it is not underground. The area where Magic Kingdom sits is only 3 feet above water level, so if they dug underground, they would have had to spend a lot more money than they had budgeted for to drain the swampy land, so they built the Utilidor above ground (as a basement) with the earth that they had excavated from Seven Seas Lagoon forming the structure of the Utilidor.
I am there now
6:33 omg, I’m dying! 😂
I loved the map overlay of the Utilidor system. Great job!
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!
ILYSM TPM OMGGGGG WHEN I SEE UR NOTIFICATION I LITER-LY SCREAAAAMMMMMM
:)
TPMVids, can you do the same video but with Disneyland?
Please??
Maaaaybe! We'll add it to our list
OMG, Thank you!
I really love your vids btw! :)
BENDY WHEN IS CHAPTER 4 OF YOUR GAME COMING OUT?!?!?!?!?!?!?
My family watched this at 9 o clock the day before we went to Disney world!😁
Ive never really been that intrestsd in Disney things (Well Lady and the Tramp has been my favorite movie for years but other than that) but because of TPMvids, Yesterworld, and Diney Dan its become one of my favorite things to learn about so thank you
Who else is at Disney world watching this ME seriously I’m at magic kingdom 😂
Put down your phone and actually enjoy it
FOR THE 4 PEOPLE WHO DISLIKED THIS JUST STOP
6:33 I laughed so hard xD
I knew all of these except the first one. That was really interesting about the flags!
On #4 I think its 30 steps because it was how fast walt took to eat a hotdog.
he took 30 steps to eat a hot dog ? :p
lol thats what I heard xD
Lameashellcosplay great😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Noctin I can imagine him testing that out XD
XDDDDDDDDD I love hotdogs I can beat him....
Don't they look lovely June?
I had no idea about the flags along Main St! That is so crazy/amazing!!
Look at the ground! Just don’t get hit bye a stroller or wheelchair 😂😂😂
Omg spelled by wrong
Ps. Everybody saying that they would like to walk through the tunnels. You don't really want to do that is not magical at all lol
Camille Arroyo every once in a while i end up at MK and just thing "ugh, these tunnels that everyone thinks are so awesome..."
Good Video

So much we really don't know! The magic of Disney and it's Imagineers!
Wow I actually never knew this
Which one?! or all of them?
Only one I knew was the underground tunnels Disney employees went in
Dat sounds creepy underground
I'm going to Disney world
Disney world was very fun it’s cool because I️ didn’t know about these secrets
So many interesting things that Disney comes up with. I hunted down the smellizers when I went earlier this year lol. Keep up the great work TPM! You all rock!
Amazing! Thanks for watching, Lauren!
#TPM is awesome
Like if you think I am right you don't need to like i really don't force you too like 😎
This comments awesome!
TPMvids Ok Cool I liked
Mirko Fischer Agreed:)
Err, wouldn't the American flags not have the current number of stars mainly in order to match the time period of the Main Street setting? It would be wrong for them to have the same number of stars as the current flag, anyway, regardless of the flag code. I think not having to take them down is just a happy side effect of the theming.
Chris Knight do you think that this guy just guessed that the flags were Like that????
3 wish Of slime not necessarily but people believe and repeat misconceptions all the time, don't they? Including Disney themselves -- for example, it wasn't until after Tony Baxter discovered the maintenance record card in the early 2000's that the existence of the Hat Box Ghost was acknowledged as ever existing. Before then, even though it was mentioned officially on the pre-release audio album, Disney denied it's existence.
According to the Keys of the Kingdom tour, the flags they don't have to take down only have 12 stripes, so nothing to do with the theming. Plus there's other areas on property that have these flags up all the time, obviously nothing to do with turn of the century theming anywhere else.
@@FrenkTheJoy Also on that tour, They tell you that Main Street leading up to Cinderella's castle is built going uphill. The reason is for the safety of the guests and to slow them down while heading toward the castle, Also another secrect is that all the parade floats have drivers hidden inside of them.
8:03 lmao that pun
I ❤️ your vids!!!
#TPMCrew
SPAGHETTI!!
We're going to Disney World in 6 months. I'm gonna binge all of these videos!
I love ur vids!!!!!!!! :D
#TPMCREW
You forgot one.
"Have a Disney Day".
It means something very vulgar.
Wha-cha mean
Great video which gets a few things wrong. My sister did a training at Disney for her airline. They told her that the grounds are red at sunset world because the color red pops in pictures and makes the park look more appealing. Also for the scents, they said they put certain scents around the park not to make it feel authentic but to subliminally give guests the urge to spend money. For example they will make it smell like popcorn and you will want to buy popcorn.
It’s crazy I was here last week! Btw u got a new sub
I'm going to Disney (for the 11th time) in August and it never gets old! Great video, TPMvids!
That dyed water thing is smart as heck!!
#TPMcrew
I'm a huge Disney nerd and I love learning Disney facts! Soon I'm going to be able to see the tunnels
