A very good konkani film. Dialogue delivery is so natural. Different from what we get to hear in tiatrs. That is the beauty of the film. All acted well. Music and videography is mind blowing. Nobody should take this story personally or in a wrong sense. But some thing like this happened in my friends family. All those who acted as tarvottis are so original. Well done entire team.

This film is a total insult to a tarvotti's wife. Not once, but many times it is shown in the film that a tarvotti's wife wastes all her husband's money. Don't generalise. As a faithful, sincere and hardworking wife of a tarvotti, I felt hurt and insulted after watching the film. I am sure many seamen's wives will agree but are afraid to comment.
Very sorry to know that you have been hurt by the movie.
Sorry to say that it seems like YOU have generalised 'the wives'. The writer/ director has tried to show us that a seafarer's job is not a child's play and the salary he earns is thru hard work and not 'easy money' like many of us think. He advises the wives to value the hard earned money n not to spend it lavishly. Why only talk about the wives..he has also shown how seafarers squander their own hard earned money.
Anyways... It's each one's perspective... Up to you how you see it.
He did not generalise but it's a fact. Take it sportingly, it's a film, a story. He did not say it's a real story. Come on grow up.
Dear Sister , Please Do not be Offended .... What we as Goans need to Realize is the Steady Decline in our Values , Priorities Our Heritage & Culture .... We Continue to Live like we are Doing Right Now & All will be Lost ...Not Just The Seamen & Their Families but every Goan has got to Pull-up his Socks & Start Thinking Of His Goa .... When the Rest of the World Can See a Paradise in Goa & Desperately want a Piece of it Our Foolish Goans Forsee a Better Future Out of Goa .....
