- Join me for a 30 minutes of scoliosis pilates to stretch, strengthen and unwind your wonderful curvy spine. This workout will improve how you feel, give you some relief from the pain caused by tension in the spinal muscles, as well as strengthen your spinal muscles and core muscles. A lovely releasing session that I use for my own relief of scoliosis and one I hope will leave you feeling wonderful too.

Just tried your new Pilates for scoliosis here in Washougal Washington USA. I’ve been enjoying many of your routines and feel very much stronger. I do a 10 to 15 minute yoga before I do your Pilates. I love it. I’m a young 75 and plan to continue this through my 90s. Love you Rachel thank you so much
Just discovered your channel. I did the scoliosis one and found it very good and gentle and love your pace and calm manner. I love that you have so many different videos for specific problems. I'm 64 and have had scoliosis and kyphosis with a bit of arthritis for many years! have been doing pilates for about years and have been fine, but recently had a problem with pain when lying on my back on the mat, almost like seizing up and unable to move! Phisio suggested to keep going with pilates avoiding certain exercises. Would love some specific videos for the above and to sort out the mid back (between shoulder blades when it seizes up). thanks!
I don't have scoliosis but so many of my Friday Pilates buddies loved this class so I had to try it. It was a great spinal stretch and I think I'm a tad taller! Thanks Rachel.

Thank you so much for this video 💓 I struggle keeping a routine by picking out exercises from random videos and making them work for less than 10 minutes. I never really thought of following a nice 30 minute workout, and I regret that because this was awesome. You seem very kind and genuine, and I found it so much better to follow along for the 30 minutes. I'll keep doing the 30 minutes consistently from now, as I found this a great help!!
This is my favourite one! I had no idea I had a minor scoliosis until I got knee pain and through physiotherapy they discovered the problem was coming from my back. No dancing or HIIT allowed and that's how I found you! Thank you so much for these classes 🙏

I have scoliosis and have done an excellent 4 minute daily routine for years thatI found on CZcams. My daughter raves pilates so I tried this video. Most of the exercises were good for me but too much left arm above the head movements, for me, sends my left ribs into spasm so most of that was out for me. I did enjoy how my lower back and hips felt after so I will try again. Thank you for my first try at pilates🙏🕊️

This is wonderful... The graceful pacing and tempo. I don't have scoliosis, but back issues, uneven ribs, shoulder impingement, so it ALL applies. I use modifications as needed and it's really helpful.

Hi Rachel, I am not aware of having this condition and therefore wasn't sure whether to do these exercises. Having done them I think they were the best stretches I have ever done, I do suffer from lower back occasional pain and stiffness and found this routine by far the best for it. I will try to do it for a few days and see what I gain from it. Thank you. x

So the first time I did this video, I didn’t realize at the very beginning you said you had scoliosis. I must’ve somehow skipped a minute or two. Again Rachel, thank you so much for these videos. My back feels so much better ❤ I just did this video. I’ve been reading up on yoga for scoliosis. Just wondering what your opinion is on side planks, and holding them on the weak side of a person’s scoliosis.

I forgot to comment I have double scoliosis which keeps my back straight but lots of muscle spasms fighting to get control. I am feeling this but plan to try again.

Ii did this and it made my painful neck better. What have is DJD neck I did your neck shoulder Pilate for painful shoulder and neck not helpful much. I have a hard time on that chest lift with arms at back of neck. I was able to lift my chest but did it only twice. How often should this be done? I’m scared I might over do it, Rachel. Thank you for your gentle thorough instructions,very much appreciated, God speed.

i don't think i have a curved neck, but i sit alot so this really helped! and i'm suppose to be building my glutes for the arthritis in my knee. so thats good too.
Excellent Leslie. And that's a great observation, many of us sit in a lopsided manner - me included so one side of the body can get tighter than the other. That's where a session like this can really help unwind the spine. And yes lots of glute work to help those knees, hope you're doing all my knee videos as they work all the muscles that support the knee both above, below and around! 😊

Yes, absolutely. The steretching aspect is to unwind and release the spinal muscles as in all cases one side is overly tight and strong, the other less tight but not as strong so this programme I have created it address both those issues. Hope that helps 🤗
