  • In our last HP build video for the Evo 8/9 you guys told us that 500whp was a baby number. So, we wanted to come back to show you how to make the jam! This is only ONE way to get there, and obviously, there are many little intricate parts needed to get the job done. BUT! This should give you a general outline.

What pistons, rings and rods are you running? Oil spec change? Any bottom end upgrades other than rods and pistons or rebuild with stock parts I.e. Big end upgrade? Any deck work or girdles worth fitting or is the 4g that good?

    Fun Fact:
There's a math equation to help you build your 300, 500, 700, 1000 hp car. Buying name brand performance parts isn't necessarily relevant but it helps.
The reason why it's not out there because videos like the one you're watching right now are meant to sell you on things (basically lead you on). And us men tend to over complicate things.
Of course it would be to simple for me to just hand it over.
