- In our last HP build video for the Evo 8/9 you guys told us that 500whp was a baby number. So, we wanted to come back to show you how to make the jam! This is only ONE way to get there, and obviously, there are many little intricate parts needed to get the job done. BUT! This should give you a general outline.

How much ball park hp would an evo 8 with, manley crankshaft, wiseco pistons, oringed head, 272 kelford cam, kiggly beehive, gsc lifters, rebuilt oringed head, driver innovative intake manifold, link 4 ecu, 1700cc ID injectors, 525 walboro,ACT CLUTCH, Ams fmic, ams exhaust manifold,full bolt ons make on pump gas with a 6266 journal turbo? Can that make close to 600 or more. Im being tuned on a very low psi, 22 to be exact. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Mean while. Ag autosports made 1291hp on stock transfer case. Stock shafts. And gearbox. Other than uprated clutch fork and triple plate clutch🤣

How much you spent in total
I made 700whp and 520 torque. Built block and head S2 cams, GT3582R gen II turbo and E-85 along with all of the supporting mods.

@@deezelkane I've never had anyone replying on that great question. Not map or anyone else, the truth is that it costs allot more than they tell you, nothing but a sales job.

Would like to see you guys break down the bottom end build some more. Be interesting to know how much scope for oversize bores or if its even worth it, stroker kits worth it? What pistons, rings and rods are you running? Oil spec change? Any bottom end upgrades other than rods and pistons or rebuild with stock parts I.e. Big end upgrade? Any deck work or girdles worth fitting or is the 4g that good?
No plans to build this big on power, but fun to watch nonetheless. When does “How to build a 1000 whp Evo come out?” 🥊

Gen 2? How much psi? What octane fuel, please?
Kirmani La.Rocque they don’t make a gen 2 5858, just the gen 1, 6 blade version in journal or ball bearing. I run 30 psi on 99 octane, but also run WMI

Currently estimated 450WHP on build 2.0l 272 cams and 5858 on 94 oct. Canadian

Fun Fact:
There's a math equation to help you build your 300, 500, 700, 1000 hp car. Buying name brand performance parts isn't necessarily relevant but it helps.
The reason why it's not out there because videos like the one you're watching right now are meant to sell you on things (basically lead you on). And us men tend to over complicate things.
Of course it would be to simple for me to just hand it over.

I mean when it comes to car modifications it isn't all that expensive. It isn't like you are gonna be spending all this money in a day or 2. this is a multi month or multi year car build

Depends on the build I’ll say 650-700 is enough for daily driven
Daily driver 600 to 700 is point less because you will never use all that power.
A dd, 300 to 400 is sufficient enough.
