Should The WHOOP 4.0 Be Your Next Fitness Tracker?

  • I tested the Whoop 4.0 fitness tracker for an entire month.
    As a dedicated Garmin user I just couldn't understand what the fuss was about over Whoop straps. After hearing them come up multiple times in the span of a week I decided to give it a try myself.
    The results were surprising!

    After some travel and downtime with the family over the holidays I'm happy to be back! I'm looking forward to getting things cranked back up and making 2024 a great year to do some fitness! 💪🏃

    Thank you for the information. If you were to step to the left/right a little so you're in about a third of the screen it would create a smoother transition for the info you bring up next to you. I really like how much info you provide. On more thing... if your going to zoom in it feels better to the viewer if your head stays in the shot(zoom up and in so to keep all of your hair in the camera).     I wonder how much of the value of Whoop/Garmin devices comes from the sensors and their automatic analysis compared to the manually inputted data. Since I am trying to choose a device that requires rather minimal daily time investment and just utilizes the measurements to present whatever can be useful.

      I think that depends on what sort of information you're looking for. The Garmin has "coaches" that give you sleep advice and training advice, which will create actual running workouts for you. The whoop has sleep coaching, although as I say in the video the recommendations can be a bit much. I felt the value from the whoop came from tracking what effect your tracked journal entries had on your health and performance
