BJF… that last game against the niners was lost on special teams with a muffed punt that allowed the 9ers to walk in and score.. Rodgers didn’t play great but he went 20/29 with no turnovers..
Tua plays in a way that allows the Dolphins to maximize the speed of their skill players. Not every quarterback can read the field in three steps and let it fly without a hitch. I get annoyed when people call Tua a system quarterback -- it's technically true, but it's a system designed to take advantage of that offense's upsides: it's not a system to paper over whatever Tua's weaknesses are. Dolphins have a well planned and well executed offense -- that's just all there is to it.
@@RealisticJetsFan I haven't made up my mind on Saleh, but I don't think your statement is terribly controversial. At least on the offensive side of the ball. Tthe Dolphins basically in a giant styrofoam fast food box, which keeps the hot side hot and the cool side cool.
The late season road game against Miami puts a smile on my face. Just don't want the Jets playing on the heat lamp side of the field before late October. Been saying this for a while, but I think Miami is a difficult matchup for the Jets: I could see them sweeping the series but the Jets winning the division. Among many other possibilities.
There is no way to see the Phins sweeping us and still losing the division. We have the best secondary so if miami is capable of dominating us they should dominate the rest of their schedule as well... I think youre just so used to us losing that you cant imagine prosperity!!
@@davidjamal378 We have the best CORNERS. That's not the same thing as having the best secondary: if you could bracket one of the Dolphins receivers, it would make a big difference, but the averageness of the Jets safety room is specifically what I'm thinking of when I call Miami a bad matchup. Doesn't help with the two-speed running-back room either. Basically, the Dolphins are really good at all the parts of the game where an elite safety tandem helps a lot. But saying I can see it doesn't mean I'm calling it. They play the games for a reason.
Tuas record in November - January. November: 11-2 December: 9-7 January: 1-3 Overall: 21-12. Yes he doesn’t perform as good in the colder months - needs to be better but to say he cannot win in December in blasphemy. Also, he’s played in very cold weather, and played good in losses. Look at Buffalo in 22.
@@TheBuffaloJetFan well that’s wrong, if you have home field you can win a playoff game under 40, or play a team that plays in dome, or another warm weather team, but your point does have some validity to it, he has played worse in cold weather, but some of those losses haven’t entirely been on him. He’s played fine in some of those games, good enough to win in some, and bad in some. Does it need to improve? Yes. Is he the only reason, or a big reason why we lost in most? No.
I'd still give it to the dolphins but I like the jets to grab a wild card. Bills at 3...think they drop to .500 give or take and then patriots at 1-16 😂
@@donniethesportsguy893 Bills strength is at TE and they have made the choice to go large at WR. Guys 6’4 and above. They have an elite QB who will make the WR’s better. I doubt very seriously the jets do better. Bills went 7-2 at home and have a definite home foes advantage.
@TheBuffaloJetFan fair enough! Hopefully he stays healthy the whole season because that will go a long way to having a dominant line. Same goes for Smith and Moses. Can't wait for the season!

And they are so much better well coached than the Jets. They have a true home field advantage as well.

It's warm in November in Miami. I think hes 0-7 when it's below 40 degrees. You can't win playoff games until that changes. It is what it is

I'm surprised you have AVT as low on that chart as you do brother, he's an elite lineman when he's actually on the field
It's just where he fell based on pass pro & rub blocking analytics I used - but yes he has the potential to be elite!

Seeing that he’s been in the league for 3 seasons and has played ONE….i would replace elite with brittle
@RealisticJetsFan naah, I wouldn't say brittle bro. Unlucky maybe. Shit happens

With Hackett, salah, that field and the fact the jets are elite at dysfunction, they will 100% not win the division

"So we agree on what you are, NFL, we're just negotiating on price." Wait -- wrong punchline.
lol yolo games
Here's why we won't. Saleh is still our HC, Hackett is still our OC and we're the Jets. We are allergic to prosperity.
