I’ve tried and stuck with multiple mascaras mostly high end brands - and im telling you the first time I ever tried the essence mascara I’ve never gone back, it’s literally the only mascara I wear
As a college student all I use is dollar tree makeup and beauty supply store makeup 😂. It helps that all I use is lipglosses, blush, and mascara and sometimes eyebrow pencil
@pettylilthing YES!! Girl, I absolutely love your choices (whether or not it's due to financial necessity or purely down to your personal choice for a much more preferred method for no.1. Using less make-up products means a faster make-up application (so beneficial for the time poor female who's always (albeit who's always trying so hard to be)running late - sooo personally relatable 🫣😳 for me) no.2. Less product can often almost always result overall in make-up application that is more 'natural looking' due to focusing on a make-up application that results in 'highlighting' a favourite/particular facial feature, such as instead of blurring out those gorgeous almond shaped eyes with shades of eyeshadow combined with a heavy eye-liner, instead, by applying with a careful & steady hand, in conjunction with using the magnified side of a face mirror it can actually result in bringing attention & the focus on such gorgeous features, or she might have been instead blessed with 'bee-stung' full lips 💋 naturally awash in a colour that's of a deep blush pink or a more flushed red, by turning attention to defining that stunning shape & colour that comes from having naturally full lips. All that's needed to hone in attention directing eyes down toward such a striking feature, an essential steady hand is required to get the best on point use from applying only that of a lip pencil, rather than using both lipstick & pencil together make more of a statement by highlighting the shape & colour longevity of full-lips by lining & defining colour to the natural lip-line, then using only lip pencil to colour in & contrast lips natural colour, by shading colour heavier beginning from the outer sides of lips working towards middle with a lighter hand, using little fingertip, rub/smudge out centre of fully coloured bottom lip, highlight a pout to resemble that 'bee-stung' pout by using the guide of lips natural line focus mainly on pencilling in & shading outwards, concentrating on bottom lip, with a steady yet relaxed hand, this is to ensure accuracy & flow of lip pencil when lining lips. Position lip-pencil in between fingers making sure a firm grip, fitting comfortably between fingers, fingertips gripping pencil should be gentle yet firm, allowing for accuracy, & to assist with the appearance of a flowing fine line. To maintain an accurate prescision of the lining & shaping of lips, making sure to sharpen the lip-pencil at the beginning of each use (hygiene purposes) this will assist in a more precise accurate guide when following along the natural lip-line. Following these tips will make it hard to go wrong, & a whole lot easier to apply make-up. Instead of wearing a face of full-coverage foundation, try using your fake tan mit instead, at the end of applying your fake tan to your body finish off by swiping the fake tan mitt over your entire face by using whatever tan is left on your mitt after sweeping over your body, leaving your face with a golden healthy glow, while avoiding using foundation each morning then once a week you can do an easy 'top up' on your face when you do your routine weekly fake body tan, no need worry about blending foundation, or attempting the matching of foundation shade to that of the rest of your body - total natural look! Any other ideas let me know & hopefully I'll come up with a solution.
Their lip stains are excellent too in shade range and application. It’s a nice hybrid between the Fenty Beauty poutsicle and rare beauty stain lip oil. Definitely recommend it.
Also: 1. "Pretty natural" (sheer coverage, satin finish) and "Fresh & fit" (medium coverage, satin finish) are really good foundations, specially for the price (they're less than $8). 2. Their pencil sharpener is amazing, it doesn't break the tip of the product. 3. For liquid eyeliner, go for the waterproof version of the "Liquid ink" one and apply a thin layer so it doesn't crack; it's precise, long lasting and very matte, and it doesn't dry out or go bad for months, unlike other ones they have. 4. "Make me brow" is a good alternative to the "Gimme me brow" by Benefit. 5. Their brushes and sponges are really good for the price (the bristles are soft and don't fall apart). 6. Their lip mask ("Lip care booster") works nicely. 7. The small blushes they have ("The Blush") are good quality as well.
@@lextorres1919 I’m sorry for commenting this on an essence affordable video but just in case, the Lancôme concealer is amazing. It looks very natural and dewey even on days my eyes are dry and it doesn’t crease at all, but it’s still good coverage. Usually I would never pay $29 for any makeup but it’s sooo worth it if you’re able to - it lasts a while too 🙂 Also the elf hydrating concealer is good too if you haven’t tried that yet but make sure it’s the hydrating version 😁
you're so right about the brushes. literally bought my 2 first ever brushes from them (powder/blush and angled brow brush) and still use the powder one to this day after 11 years, perfect quality, nothing happened to it and it's still able to be washed down to it's real color (light lavender). lost the eyebrow brush, could never find a dupe good enough after that
@@lextorres1919the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser is a pretty good one - nice coverage but feels smooth like a moisturizer, and when it sets you don't even feel it!
With quality like Essence, it makes me wonder how companies get away with charging so much! They just need a staple foundation or 2 that works for all skin types, maybe a soft matte and a skin tint or glowy type, with great shade range. A few more categories of phenomenal quality products and I wouldnt have to buy any other brand. Even e.l.f. is creeping up in price, but Essence has been consistent in quality and price.
But on the other side it can be questioned how some brands make their products so cheap to consumers, what are the ingredients going into them, where are they sourced, how are the people making them treated? Then again for all we know Charolette Tilbury is being made In the same factory as Essence and one is just a rip off 🤷🏻♀️ just a thought
I think it’s packaging that companies spend a lot on and that’s why they’re so expensive. Not even the quality of the makeup, but the packaging, which is honestly🫣😬

That Essence concealer you showed is amazing! I tried it on a whim and so glad I did! And that Princess Lash Mascara, one of THE best mascaras on the market! 😊
I've been using that highlighter for years. The metalic, blinding highlighters that were popular several years ago never looked good on me, so this one has always been my go-to.
It’s not nearly their best. I love the I ❤ Extreme Volume (it really is extreme); and in the Volume Stylist line I love doing one coat of the pink one (with the wax in it), followed by the purple (with the fibers in it). Looks like falsies!
came here to say the same. I bought 5 different Essence mascaras and they are all a no go for me. The best ones I found that are amazing for my lashes are L'Oreal Lash Paradise and Benefit BADgal Bang.
my favorite essence mascara is definitely the waterproof blue one, get a you a good waterproof remover (i use the micellar water but waterproof which is the one with the blue cap) and you’re good! personally makes my lashes look longer and fuller and it stays like “up” longer!
i LOVE the pink lash princess it is my fav. the green one just doesn’t do it for me. they also have a coral one that nobody talks about but it gives my thick lashes some volume and it’s really good too
I use the Wet n Wild regular mascara (the teal looking one) I forgot the name but, it helps curl my lashes soooo much! I have naturally long eyelashes but this helps keep its shape and it’s only like a $1.25 at any Dollar Tree I highly recommend! :)
Wet N Wild is amazing!!! Almost all of their products are super good!! The photo focus foundation, their mascaras, eye shadows, lip sticks, powders, bronzers, blushes!! Love them!! And I used to only use high end products!!! 💗
Those high shine lip glosses are the best .. I really think they’re more of a liquid lipstick. SO GOOD. I left mine at a friends several years ago & I’m still not over it. The staying power, the coverage, the shine the non stickiness 😩 honestly haven’t seen them stocked again!
The pink las princess mascara is also really good! I always use the pink one for the roots and the green one to define the tips of the lashes and they look gorgeous together ❤
I recently bought their “I ♥️ Panda Eyes” mascara and I’m never going back to expensive mascaras again. It’s unreal for the price point! Stays on all day and wears really nicely.

I love, love Essence mascaras (more than any other brand) and the highlighter, but their shade range in complexion products is shameful. I know they’re a European company, but even Europe has diversity enough for them to do better.
The lash princess is literally so good, I got it without even knowing about the hype just cause I liked the bottle and the things it said it does. It’s my go to mascara for any look!
It amazes me that in Europe essence has been around for ages! When I was younger one of my first eyeshadows was from this brand. Love that it's getting so much recognition!❤
OMGG ! that's why essence is my favourite makeup mark!!! The gloss and lip œil are the best like all thé mascaraaa!!! And it is perfect for the tennagers! It's so natural like I LOVE ESSENCE!! #Iloveessence
I love the gel eyeliners because you can smudge them and get a really nice grungy look which is what I personally like to do and they’re like three dollars. I pick them up every few months.
Both Essence and Catrice are good office makeup. I like to us my fancier stuff for date night and special occasions, but they are good enough to wear all the time.
Their lash and brow gel makes my blonde brows look light brown! It has always been an insecurity of mine and this looks so good! And its only 6 bucks and lastes for like 5 months using it every day
oh yes i love essence!! i buy my eyeliner pencils from them. normally here an eyeliner pencil is like 20€ or more!! essence sells them for around 2-3€ AND they’re very good quality
i always use essence with everything, i once went to a store and i went to get essence lipgloss, and i got a lip oil for just 3 dollars! its so juicy and my lips look really good in it! its also very glossy, its in dark pink light pink (the one i got) and orange i saw those though idk if there are other ones, and i also got a lip plumbing lipgloss, it doesnt plumb your lips alot but it does a bit and doesnt charge you extra or something, and that lipgloss smells like a nice sweet cake or candy it smells so good and just like the lip oil it makes your lips look very juicy its really nice and it was 2,30 dollars! i highly recommend to buy essence lipgloss and lipsticks concealer blush and those stuff you really will not regret!
no but the essence mascara in the magenta/pink one is sooooo goood its my favorite the waterproof one im not a fan of though i've tried all the colors and they aare really good for the most part but the pink and green are my favs

The lash princess is literally so good, I got it without even knowing about the hype just cause I liked the bottle and the things it said it does. It’s my go to mascara for any look!
Their shade range for complexion is trash 🗑
It amazes me that in Europe essence has been around for ages! When I was younger one of my first eyeshadows was from this brand. Love that it's getting so much recognition!❤
Im 13 and just starting to wear makeup. As i cant really afford high-end products essence or elf has been my go to and so far no complaints!
OMGG ! that's why essence is my favourite makeup mark!!! The gloss and lip œil are the best like all thé mascaraaa!!! And it is perfect for the tennagers! It's so natural like I LOVE ESSENCE!!
#Iloveessence
I've loved essence since I was a kid. Their liquid eyeliner is amazing.
my fav product from them is their tinting cranberry lip oil. a must have IMO
the purple essence mascara is one of the besttt
My favorite essence product is so underrated. It’s the bye bye panda eye mascara!
It’s amazing and smudge proof
I love the gel eyeliners because you can smudge them and get a really nice grungy look which is what I personally like to do and they’re like three dollars. I pick them up every few months.
bro the pink essence one and then adding the purple on top is 😩😩😩
The gel eyeliners are amazing!
Literally love this brand. The lip plumper and concealer is my everyday go to.
Both Essence and Catrice are good office makeup. I like to us my fancier stuff for date night and special occasions, but they are good enough to wear all the time.
There eyeliner in hot cocoa is amazing been using it for at least 3-4 years! It doesn’t bleed and lasts long 😍
The green mascara transfers on me like crazy! I prefer the pink or orange or purple one
i have the peach one in the tiny lip glosses and i LOVE it! such a great shine for your lips!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
their ink liner eyeliner has been my staple for years
I loveee essence concealer!! I have it and wear it everyday it’s perfect for natural and no make up makeup looks!❤️❤️
I have had one of their lipglosses for years now and it's still as good as new, the smell, the texture and everything...
I've been using Skin Lovin' Natural concealer for years at this point, specifically the Light and Medium shade. They're soo good
Love the green Lash Princess mascara. I’ve been wearing the Nude highlighter for years. Still awesome!
They better not ever get discontinued! Their precise eyeliner has been my official go to since the nyc liquid liner was discontinued years ago
The essence lip glosses and lipsticks are AMAZING
I actually agree with ALL of your picks....thats pretty rare. Great minds think alike...
THOSE CONCEALERS ARE THEEE BESSST but I really like the pink and dark blue mascaras
Yessssss. All their products are SOLID, cheap, cruelty free and the oretty dang decent!!!
Lash princess is literally one of the absolute best, has never failed me once no matter how many tubes I've gone through
I love all these products!
The lash princess with pink text on black is great, too. It's a pretty spot on dupe for the It cosmetics SuperHero
I have been using Essence lash princess for two years. The purple and green ones are very useful and very pocket friendly. I would recommend
I have one of their pink glosses, absolutely love it
The purple lash princess is sooo good its so underated to
When my daughter start to enjoy makeup this is the 1st brand i bought her..good product essence
essence is literally an essential. it’s soooo good!
YESS I BOUGHT ESSENCE CONCEALER YESTERDAY THE QUALITY IS AMAZING
my favorite lash princess mascara is the pink on
Their lash and brow gel makes my blonde brows look light brown! It has always been an insecurity of mine and this looks so good! And its only 6 bucks and lastes for like 5 months using it every day
oh yes i love essence!! i buy my eyeliner pencils from them. normally here an eyeliner pencil is like 20€ or more!! essence sells them for around 2-3€ AND they’re very good quality
i literally love essence. i have almost all their products!
i always use essence with everything, i once went to a store and i went to get essence lipgloss, and i got a lip oil for just 3 dollars! its so juicy and my lips look really good in it! its also very glossy, its in dark pink light pink (the one i got) and orange i saw those though idk if there are other ones, and i also got a lip plumbing lipgloss, it doesnt plumb your lips alot but it does a bit and doesnt charge you extra or something, and that lipgloss smells like a nice sweet cake or candy it smells so good and just like the lip oil it makes your lips look very juicy its really nice and it was 2,30 dollars! i highly recommend to buy essence lipgloss and lipsticks concealer blush and those stuff you really will not regret!
Thank you I’ve been wanting affordable makeup besides elf
the essence I heart extreme volume mascara is so good make sure to get the pink one!
I'm using only Essence for the past 7 years now. They never disappoint and I don't have to give a fortune for my makeup!

I live by Essence. My store only has a few things but they are my go to for eyeliner, nail polish, and eyebrow pencils
