"So, how did you two meet and end up getting married?"
"We met at a dance, and the next day he shot down my airplane."
Love how the animator managed to capture the weird crazy look in Rasputin eye's. He really was a weird looking dude like spooky
I've never seen someone with eyes like his. He had lizard/shark eyes
ever notice how Charles Manson and Rasputin have the same eyes?
no kk kk bb i k bb😮😮k😮
You met him?
@@Onora619oh yeah- holy- they do
You didn't put what I'd consider the creepiest part: Rasputin supposedly predicted the downfall of the monarchy if he dies. He said they would fall within a year.
Of course he did. Just look at his eyes, soulless...
But not their mom and dad on any level im thinking

Ayy, we're starting off with Rasputin!!
“svetlana must have been the forgiving type as they continued dating” this has me dead 💀 💀
Your name is illogical.
If someone kidnapped me to make me film movies, I would just be like "bro you could have just hired me lmao"

I see the Emu war as a prime example of an army doing something they are not trained for.
Also if the soldiers assigned to the task were animal lovers in any capacity, it is not unrealistic to think that they missed on purpose. Not everyone can just gun down wildlife in the way that was required for that specific task.
"Mission failed, we'll get em next time."
@@vanhattfield8292 Exactly. Not to mention the emus had no clue what was going on, they just wanted food lmao
@@vanhattfield8292 yes but also, the emu were compared to Zulus... but from what I remember, putting up fences is what eventually frustrated emus from eating crops. (Did you wonder why the gov't started attacking birds?) The follow up with weapons didn't do much. The govt have up, even after the bounties.
@@vanhattfield8292 I hear that happens a lot during war in general.. they purposely miss the enemy because it's mentally taxing to take a life in any capacity
The worst part is Rasputin’s evil looks are not exaggerated at all. Guy was a real troll
NOW this ! Is a very good narrator. Took his time, understandable, good speed of talkative narration and able to acknowledge key points in the stories. Liked and saved !
It sounds like Charlie Sheen!
I totally agree, I love this channel and the “Infographics Show” CZcams page. If you don’t know it you might check it out it’s like he has I’d guess I’m the hundreds of videos dealing with every kind of topic you could imagine.

Imagine the torture that crew would’ve went through if they landed on that Japanese air field. He saved them by killing their plane.
I was literally thinking exactly the same thing. If the airstrip had AA they’d all be dead.
Imagine losing a war against emus.
Yeah imagine if a group of humans lived underground in cave for hundreds of years then came out and remixed with society
Yeah that story actually gave me chills. Partly because of my interest in WWII but also the uncanny sequence of events
@@nothanks9503…what are you referring to?
This kind of videos are a source of inspiration for short stories. Well done!

26:13 is probably my favorite story. First time hearing it. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I loved the others and had a good giggle at the emus and the auto icon but the pilots story is so awesome.
Rasputin was truly one scary dude! He reminds me of a lead singer of a Death Metal band! Regardless, his name has survived the test of time, being known to even those unfamiliar with his story or questionable means of death. Crazy stuff and GREAT JOB!! 🎯💯🔥🦹♀️
One of the strangest stories on WWII I heard was during the German attack on Poland a Catholic Priest was beginning Mass with as he traditionally did his back to the Congregation when he heard the jackboots walk up the central Aisle, and several people run but suddenly heard the German Catholic officer respond to his Latin Words as Mass continued.
Do you know where I can read more about this?
@@adidascap9441 I don't sorry as a friend who was spoken to by a Missionary who knew the man while at school told me, but maybe try History Hustle, as he visited and Vlogged a lot of the important sites of the invasion of Poland

That last story makes for an insane “How I Met Your Mother” story.
I would love to see you guys do a history skit on Vald III/Dracula.
It's interesting on how he got to power and fought of the turks.
It's also interesting to see what theories are out there about his mysterious disappearance for 8 years. Could he have been a vampire? What happened in those 8 years of his disappearance that made the stories of him being a vampire come to surface?
He drank his enemies' blood and impaled their heads and bodies for everyone to see. That's the vampire origin. But vampire is a relatively new term. While drinking enemies' blood isn't.
Vlad the impaler
@@MH-jj2ss Vlad the impaler actually impaled prisoners of war on wooden stakes while they were still alive, creating essentially what was a forest of agony

I'm talking about Rasputin of course!
When a CZcams channel that’s free has far surpassed new history channel content.
The animations during the emu story are F-ing hilarious
Only thing i would have changed would be for the emu in the steering wheel to still be viciously snarling and pecking 🤣
That's was pretty phenomenal story telling!
24:15 damn that scared me for a sec
yea same lol
As for myself, my internal response was: ARRGGGHH!
That pykrete material was basically indestructible. Life as we know
It would be completely different if pykrete’s use was made more common and widespread then. The equipment, construction materials, etc. that was used in Canada is all still there, but you have to scuba dive to get to the stuff. Very interesting subject.
Theres more fact checking and research in each of these uploads to the point where just bringing this makes me learn more than what I would from a semester of history classes on school
Keep up the good work, every upload is great!
The story about Thomas and Svetlana brought tears to my eyes 😭
Rasputin's had a really big "gun". It's in a museum now 😳 for

that Rasputin dude is really creepy and mysterious
Rasputin is still alive to this day
When you realize today is the 104th anniversary of Resputins death 🤯

That emu leader has better leadership habits than most of the human leaders I know.
Straight and to the point the way we all like it thank you my favorite channel on CZcams
And thats why we say...Don't kick an Emu.
The reason Rasputin wasn’t killed by the cyanide was that one of the conspirators had a change of heart and instead used a harmless substance
Yeah that detail gets left out of most retellings. They gotta keep pushing the narrative that Rasputin was some kind of super human. Take the poison out of the story and his survival for so long from just beating, stabbing and gunshots isn't all that unheard of.

21:50 wuuut? 3 NINJAS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME !!
I'm cold just sitting in bed when I wake up I couldn't imagine why anybody would want to climb everest, that blows my mind... Imagine waking up in that icy tundra & not remembering where you are for a second.. you wake up "Where am I? Oh.. I'm not top of a fucking giant mountain.."
Concerning the Emu war seemingly the gunmen had no earthly idea 💡 as to where their vital organs were and had no sniper's
The artwork and editing on the emu story was hilarious! 😂 Thank you! 🤣🤣🤣

His eyes were supposed to be super piercing in person, so it fits.

Thank you simple history. My whole life I've loved history. Thank you for all this knowledge. You know the saying, history repeats itself. I believe history only repeats itself if it's forgotten. Probably not the only one but God damn do I love history.
Actually, before they threw Rasputin in the river, they rolled him up in a rug, then threw him in the river. When the river was dredged for his body and they found him, his arm was up over his head which means he was trying to crawl out of that rug and he drowned
Or his arm was just dislodged from being an actual body carelessly tossed into an actual river. He'd been shot in the head and chest, he was dead at that point he wasn't actually magical lol.
@@littlebunse5 exactly there’s pictures of his dead body and he has a bullet hole in the middle of his forehead, it’s pretty obvious they just shot him and threw him in the river and made up this story to make Rasputin seem supernatural and justify their assassination.

Always a treat!🙂🙂🙂
If the “corpse” markers, deter even one person from advancing, when they were already chasing the odds, at the base of the summit, before even putting their boots on, then it shadows the morbidness of it all.
From photos I’ve seen, the number of climbers on the mount, at any given time, is the problem, IMO. If oxygen shortage on the descent, is the problem, it’s because they used it all standing still on the way up, waiting for people that should have never left the paved pathways in their neighbourhood parks.
I've read stories about how the amount of garbage is really becoming a huge issue as well. Mostly empty oxygen tanks if I remember correctly.
Just got done watching the whole video! It was awesome! I like these stories! Keep them coming!
The second one is just really sad
Imagine getting PTSD from emus lol
Imagine shooting it and it don't die but dodges the bullets then out runs you then out runs the bullets
Mr lmmortal's design from "Invincible" is based on Rasputin.
Thank you totally awesome. God Bless. Philadelphia USA
Rasputin is just prototype of Kenny
I'm pretty sure that the body of Green Boots was cleared from the trail. I heard that every so often the bodies will be moved off trail and out of sight..pitched over a cliff usually. I think that if I died on Everest, I'd want to be left. I wouldn't want anyone to risk their life just to bring my dead body back. Id be totally good with being left.
I’d want whoever found my body to do something humorous to it before proceeding, but not spending so much time as to gurantee the next person to come would see it, cuz that would mean a second body
Green boots is still there. Other climbers know that they can't take the time or put in the effort of clearing dead bodies or else they themselves will likely perish. It's more common than most realize for climbers to leave members of their own climbing party behind to die on the mountain.
@@Coltwollsch Nope..go look it up. Green boots was cleared from the trail. His body is still on the mountain, but no longer on the trail where he died. Every so often bodies are infact cleared from the trail, although they are still left on the mountain. They drag them off and usually roll them over a cliff. Theres a few videos and articles that explain that. Green Boots is no longer on the trail.
@@mattjack3983 I did look it up and found nothing. There was a rumour back in 2014 that green boots was removed but it turned out that the body had just been covered. There are over 200 dead bodies on Everest that are still sitting exactly where the person died.
if i die in mount Everest then i would pose like im laughing at the people trying to climb mount Everest because they are about to fail and die
Well: that Rasputin certainly was a tough guy... Don't see why the conspirators would admit to poisoning him as well as shooting him if they didn't. He was well known to have genuine healing powers; so I think he probably had a body/metabolism like that of an Indian fakir's, who are also known to perform incredible feats. That poison was probably instantly metabolised.
It’s likely.
Rasputin was born in year 1869 that's why he wouldn't die now I understand
Those emu animations are hilarious lmao
Rasputin is a vampire, and that young girl was one of Buffy's previous versions. She missed the heart😏Spike would have stated that, n bit the slavic girl
The real strange thing is the prototype ice vessel is still there as when they finished with it they just left it in the lake to sink
Awesome! Loved it! 5 stars! *****
A woman who moved from Russia to America and eventually arrived here as an RN told me that I reminded her of Rasputin as a lady who has sustained a severe brain aneurysm and was predicted to pass away and be no more than a potted plant if she survived. I sat by her bed 3 times a day, am midday and pm till advised visiting over. The lady's brain scans improved and then she rapidly improved, woke up, looked at a TV playing a Corona commercial as it was sat May 5. She had been in a coma for the better part of a month, woke up, saw the TV, turned to me and asked " is this the day when we all pretend we are Español? It was Cinco de Mayo. This was witnessed by the Russian nurse. She had see me holding the lady's hand and talking to her while in the coma. The were other instances.
I love animal furries too also and have done stuff and held them asking great creator to heal them when veterinarian doctor advise euthanize puppies and kittens live still healthy all life after this.
Austin Powers: Why Won't You Die?

Well, if Lt. Curtis hadn't shot them down and they landed on the Japanese airstrip then they might be captured and who knows what could happen to them especially the women.
I find it amazing, fortunate, and something for television to pay attention to, that a free channel can outdo the combined efforts of a television channel and sponsorship money. The more channels like this that I find, the less of a reason I have to go back to pay for TV. Because of channels like this one, I have not turned on my TV in over a year.
The last story is fucking amazing I salute you

Seneca was exactly like Rasputin, in his death. He had to commit suicide because of Nero & had to resort to many different, horrificly painful suicidal acts before death overtook him.
