All pro football 2k8 was the first sports game with abilities - bronze, silver, and gold level. The on-field gameplay of APF 2k8 is still unmatched today.
The early 00 Maddens had the silly ability cards though.

You can change the conferences and have up to twenty teams in each conference but no you can’t change the playoff as far as we know

There’s most likely a modifier button when using switch stick. Big hits are still in the game according to streamers who played it and the videos EA dropped.

With the amount of customization pre play….even if there’s glitchy stuff, there’s probably a counter to them. And madden always patches stuff anyways so I’m assuming ncaa will do the same.
