  • If you are interested in growing as organically as possible we'll show you how we use Neem oil and other essential oils to prevent disease and bug pressure in our cut flower garden.
    We use this recipe for the pests (looking at you, spider mites, Japanese beetles, earwigs, slugs, aphids, and thrips) and diseases that are specific to our garden, like powdery mildew, black spot, sooty mold, rust, root rot and more.

    RECIPE:
    The recipe to fill a 2 - gallon sprayer:
    Add one quart of very warm water to the sprayer.
    Add 1 tablespoon of Dawn dish soap and swish until combined.
    Add 4 tablespoons of Neem oil (or according to package instructions) and swish again.
    Then add 20-40 drops of each of the following essential oils, adjusting the recipe to your particular needs:
    Peppermint
    Rosemary
    Cedarwood
    Tea Tree
    Pine
    Thyme White
    Fill the sprayer with cool water to the 2 - gallon mark and swish it to combine.
