This (almost) full concert video was filmed at the EEF festival, a very cold but awesome world-music/jazz/arts festival in The Netherlands. It was a very nice challenge playing these songs for a non-metal audience. Enjoy!

Agree, his voice is great. But Iron Maiden had never a better singer, and entertainer, than Dickinson. In my opinion.

I haven’t really followed or listened to Blaze since the X Factor and I have to say somehow his voice is much better now than it ever was
Check out Blaze's solo albums. Silcone Messiah, Tenth Dimension (my favorite), his entire William Black trilogy...The King of Metal, Madness and Sorrow...boof, he's got a lot and *every* one is a gem. You'll see why he's got so many devoted fans after all these years, and they ain't there to hear the old Maiden tracks either, mind you.
It is impressive the honesty, dedication and love with which Blaze and Thomas do each concert, play for 50 people or 500! That is real love of music and honesty !!! Leave 100% at each concert regardless of the number of spectators or the place where they play. Greetings from Montevideo - Uruguay

Wasted years sound unbelievebly good. So much emotion, so much beauty. Great, amazing work
I think Blaze got a lot of grief during his time in Maiden simply because he wasn’t Bruce. His style is completely different, and it’s obviously a matter of taste, but for my money he has an awesome voice. When he sings material that is written to his strengths, his talent is apparent. Some of the songs on TXF and VXI weren’t terribly well written to begin with, and that’s largely on Steve Harris. Blaze could only do so much with some of those songs. But give him a song like Stare at the Sun or The Clansman, and he kills it. I don’t think he was the best fit for Maiden as a whole, but I’ll never deny that the man’s got some great pipes. Glad to see he’s still going!

As a lifelong Maiden fan I did and do love Blaze. Amazing albums and several of Maidens best songs. Sign of the Cross, Lord of the Flies, The Clansman etc. (and with Bruce doing his solo work it was a double treat ha!)

Blaze is GOD. X Factor is without a doubt one of the best maiden albums, plus his version of Afraid to Shoot Strangers blows Bruce out of the water.

Blaze and Bruce are both a class act. I love that you guys even do material from the second Bruce stint with Maiden. Many singers get an ego and don't appreciate the music of their successors (unique situation here with Bruce being predecessor and successor to Blaze) but I always got a great feeling that their was never anything but a mutual respect between those two guys. Di'anno is another story. I have seen him a few times and although the music was good, it was annoying hearing him talk his badass "look at me I know a lot of cusswords" type of rap, as well as constantly rip on people and call them gay.
As for you, Thomas...love your interpretations of all the Maiden catalog....goes without saying, so keep up the good work.
