  • Granted, we think Franklin, Tennessee is one of the best places in the south, but don't take our word for it, listen to a few who've made it home.

It is the best place in the south! I used to live there and loved every minute of it. I have family living there so there is always a reason to visit!

It’s kind of like Mayberry. Cute shops nice folks and well run by the city management. One of the few town not in debt.

My wife and I are moving to the Nashville area and would love to call Franklin our hometown but I'm fairly certain it is beyond what we can afford.

The prices are ridiculous. People who were born and raised there can't afford to even live there anymore.

I grew up in Williamson county, moved away and recently moved back. I feel like it is much better than I remember. I’m single and now everyone is married with kids or empty nesters, so it’s good for families but kinda quiet for me. Probably I will either move closer to Nashville in the future or Green hills area or move back out of state in a few years. If I was married with kids I’d probably stay. It was a fun place to grow up. Lots of things to do for families with children.

Blueevoy_6000 Not boring. I just moved from there after living there my whole life. There’s so much to do, especially around it as well. Mall 15 min away, major restaurants, shopping centers, etc. However, you just don’t find true southern hospitality anymore, as the South is tainted now. It’s one big melting pot, and some cultures are colliding.

@@oldacct3823 You don't find the true southern hospitality anymore because all that lives there now is Hollywood and Yanks. They've chased out the generation who were born and raised there by marking up the price of everything, especially the homes.

@Mark Kollmer I hear you, but more inclined to say it's poverty that ruins an area. On the other hand I enjoy an area where the people all agree on how they would like to pursue happiness without infringing on others.
