How about this: Helicopter news coverage of pursuits, fires and shootings. Maybe get a news helicopter liverly and have the famous Stu Mundel RP. Hell, one pursuit would be fine.
The Eurocopter AS350 B2 has a typical flight endurance of 4.5Hrs. Pretty close with the 5 hour estimate.

On MD helicopters they do have a manufacturing plant in Mesa Az at falcon field in high school my metal shop class took a tour of that plant it was cool

Hey Jeff, are you using an older version of NVE? In one of the recent updates for the graphics mod they made plane/helicopter positional lights (flashing red green and white lights) a lot brighter at distance, and they increased the environmental lighting for those lights when on the ground, it looks amazing and I’m sure you’d love it

Love Air One
A AS350 (Astar) the aircraft they have modeled as Air 1 can fly roughly 350 nautical miles, which comes out to be roughly 4.5hrs. There are a handful of variables that go into that….altitude, air temps, wind speed, elevation changes etc. I don’t know if any helicopter that can fly for 7hrs on its own fuel supply. There are aircraft that can fly…indefinitely technically because they have in flight refueling capabilities so really at that point your limiting factory is crew fatigue or crew flight time limitations
I was a rescue gunner in the Air Force Pavehawk (a Blackhawk variant) and we carried 4800lbs of gas with our auxiliary tanks. That gave approximately 4HRS of flight time +/- like you said there are multiple variables. However we had probes so we could do in flight refueling. I once flew 16hrs because we had C-130s dragging us along and gave us fuel as needed… which is the makes our crews could fly without a minimum of 8hrs of crew rest. I LOVE flying in helicopters but 16hrs with 85lbs of combat gear and a 16lb helmet gets really old flying that long!
Jeff - the Eurocopter AS350 Écureuil (aka the Squirrel) has a standard endurance of 4 hours and 6 minutes.
So if 48 minutes in real-time is 24hours in game. What you saying is they can fly for 8 minutes real-time, cuz then in game 4 hours has passed.
I am not trying to make a direct in game comparison for actual RP. If we did that, then the time that it takes a person to drive from one side of the map to the other would be like 4 hours+ and the driving speeds would be all wrong. - I just noted that Jeff didn’t know the exact duration of the EuroCopter that is being modeled by Air One. His observer said like 7-8 hours and that too is just a bit long. Personally, I understand and agree that having to land all of the time would be unrealistic and there are some things in the game that just aren’t truly realistic.

You should do some civ on live ever once and a while I love your vids I really do don't take this the wrong way but I haven't watched alot of your rp vids from 5m lately because it's just regergitated pd content same thing you have done for years I love y'all and the vids I just lost interest in them nothing changes just GTA 5 rp pd I get your a good guy so much that you don't even wanna shoot anyone in civ rp but that's just your character it doesn't have to represent you as a person you should atleast give us a dirty cop episode or something switch stuff up I mean it does happen irl iv seen it with my own eyes love ya man don't think im being mean or planning on not watching if I ever want something chill to watch and goto sleep to I always throw a pd rp vid from you on might sound weird but your voice is calming lol but do us a civ live stream once if you can man we would love it we miss Steve and all the other great characters your mind thinks up
