I have every set you two put out, but very little talent so these are very helpful. Most of my lettering is rather boring which is why I love these tutorials, all the shaders and textures. I'm already experimenting. Can't wait to see more!

Thanks for the tutorial, I am new to Procreate, maybe I had too much confidence in myself to try this but here I am…I can get without any issues to the point where I am supposed to cut the “excess” texture and then all goes wrong, for the life in me I cannot remove the background color / excess texture ( the process explained at 2:58) when I do the 3 finger gesture and select cut, and go back to the texture layer It doesn’t go back to the texturized letter with white background screen, I get something completely off 😂 any ideas as to what could I be doing wrong? Thanks again!
Hey Liz! There’s a ton of ways of doing that and we totally understand where you get lost. So: once you have the clipping mask with the texture, head back to your original H, tap on selection and make sure the "automatic" option is turned on. Now tap outside your H, select your clipping mask, go to the screen and scroll three fingers down and tap on cut. For sure you’re skipping one of these things and that’s why you’re not figuring out!
