Unfortunately that was probably one of our windiest days this year . Most golfers would have struggled in a 40mph wind on a course as demanding as Royal Dornoch . Hopefully you’ll come back sometime and enjoy some more normal Dornoch weather.

I think i played at Dornoch on the same day or the day after. I really sympathise on the conditions. I had the best bogey of my life on the 11th. Every shot great but still couldn’t make par into that wind with driving hail. Tough day but I enjoyed it so much.

This will have been a forecaddie who’d give information and read greens for the whole group.
Individual players hiring a single caddie would have their clubs carried.
