I don’t think so, station should be a junction. You can collect near by any junction station but please contact parcel office for more and exact information.
Can i ask my friend to receive the bike or should the owner be necessarily present to receive the bike?
Anyone can receive the bike but during booking mentioned the receiver name and also you need to send the original receipt to the receiver by courier to collect the bike.

Yes, better to send from Bhubaneswar because from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar transfer also they will charge you as bikes will only send from Bhubaneswar.
But anyways you can book from any junction.

Delivery original receipt hona chahiye and name mention hona chahiye during booking like who will pick up.

If you receive the message then don’t wait for call. Go and collect it or if station is too far from your location then I will suggest to contact customer support about the status or check the status in railway online portal.
