  • Join me as I take my new home on wheels on its maiden voyage. This is the next/new chapter of road life having moved out of my truck camper after 3 years of living in it full time. I am now living in a 21ft 2022 Keystone Springdale Mini 1750RD Travel Trailer. There is definitely a learning curve towing as opposed to hauling. This is my first official video living and traveling in the trailer. I explore and camp an absolutely gorgeous area of Utah during my shakedown mission. Come along!

I have reviewed your work before, but I have to confess, your photography skills along with your editing and music choices, writing, Voice Over and on camera story telling are over the top. You touch my heart with the way your music fits perfectly with your choice of shots. I love that you are "old school" with how you capture video. Transferring your still photography career into "motion picture" photography just works for your channel! Setting up the tripod, starting the capture, and letting the scene play out to its natural ending is rare to find on youtube . . . but you do that! I can't thank you enough and will find a way to be a patron to support your upcoming adventures. Your maiden voyage is complete! I can't wait to experience what you share with us.

    Kat ,
I know that solar is amazing, but a small and quiet generator to run the air conditioning is really nice. With the current set up they are not hard to deal with. Far more affordable than building solar that might briefly run AC.

So very happy that new home on wheels is working out for you. Blessings to your sister who has been cancer-free now. I love Utah and what you have shown us does not disappoint ... absolutely stunning!!! How wonderful to enjoy those days with your sister & brother-in-law and their doggie Birdie ... so very special. Thank you for sharing it with us and by all means fire-up those videos about the power inverter. Have considered getting a 'Jackery' ... it seems to be a great solar generator for all nomads.

Someone may have suggested this already but you may want to get a hitch lock for your trailer. You could leave it parked without worrying about someone taking it while you're on an adventure. We got ours at Etrailer. They have all sorts to stuff to make trailer life easier. I have no affiliation, just a very happy customer. We LOVE your videos. Thank you for making them available.

Your truck has a slight but noticeable smile. Your setup in general looks more comfortable and practical, good move. All boats and vehicles should be named, what is your trucks name? And what are you going to name your ground vessel home? Maybe a vote? Love your show, happy trails 👣

Like your new digs! A note on backing up with your trailer...it has served me for decades (in my 70's)...place your driving hand on the bottom of your steering wheel...move your hand left to move the trailer left, move your hand right to over your trailer right while backing up!

Beautiful scenery. I finished my cancer treatments a month before everything closed down because of Covid. I am still in recovery as well and am cancer free. I have appointments in a few weeks to check on things. I had stage IV colon cancer. I'm happy your sister is doing well.

Backing is easy if you'll use that old truckers' tip. The direction that the bottom of the steering wheel is going is the direction the trailer is about to go.

Good morning Cat! A rare beautiful Sunday morning here in NOVA. First, great news about your sister, Jill! Two years cancer-free is excellent. I never stopped praying for her as cancer has touched my own family. I'm sure she's been in the prayers of many over these years. PSE tell her to take it one day at a time. Let them add up! And, that a positive attitude is a good start. Cancer can be conquered! Have faith. As for the video, this is, once again, your best yet. As much as I love the Eastern Sierra Nevada, I have to say that Utah is the most beautiful state of the "lower 48". I think that tells you which one I think is tops, LOL! Once again, it's not just the videography. Your music always seems complement the visual content. This one was a serious winner. Definitely do a video showing the solar and inverter upgrades. Especiallly how to do it safely. More people get killed off 120 VAC than any other voltage level. May Almighty God, continue to Bless, Guard, Guide and protect you in your journeys! 73

A Good Sunday morning to you and your family from Big Sur Cali Cat! I always look forward to waking up happy with my freshly grounded roasted coffee in hand; sipping off its pipping hot goodness while also drinking it in my favorite cup; laying back listening to your music selections and watching the GRAND of everything wild unfolding and shared through your perspective lens. Thank you for your time creating them with such care and simplicity.. Your voice IS Sunday morning- it's the kind of voice that offers reading one to get nspired AND escaping at the same time!
