To celebrate my birthday, I decided to spend 48 hours in a log cabin in the wilderness and I'll tell you some of my experience. I miss the cabin that my family rented in the mountains. We had to do as you did and go down hill to the spring and get water and truck it up the hill then pour water in the reservoir on the wood cook stove for hot water. I did this many times. lol 😅
