if you had a first or second AC stand your PL case right side up like that, they should be tarred and feathered. lol

Thank`s for the pro real world examples. For indies a pro option, for sure. All the lenses side by side with same content would be nice, too (breathing, flaring, distortion, bokeh, contrast, colour matching). I´ve seen in other tests, that the 85 mm seems to be bit yellowish.

Yea I have also seen that ... I need to do another test with these next to a Zeiss CP3 or Supremes. Maybe in this next year I will connect with some DPs who have those lenses to compare or when I rent them for bigger jobs. For me, I haven't really noticed that huge of a colour shift between the lenses, almost none-existent ... but I will also sit down with a proper DIT and get that hopefully sometime this year. :)

If you find the dynamic range and peak of your base ISO, you can make those cameras shine well. I know other fellow cinematographers I’m good friends with whom have shot well with the BMP6K

Thanks for the real world examples. There's something about the bokeh I don't care for. I can't put my finger on it. I do love that they stay sharp (but not too sharp) throughout the focal range. I'm coming from the Rokinons, which get soft at the extremes. Almost unusable in many cases. These would be an upgrade for sure. I also love the somewhat vintage look.

Glad you enjoyed some of the examples. Yea sometimes the bokeh can throw me off a bit, but not too much. And yes I do love how fairly sharp they stick wide open. And for sure much better than the Rokinons. They aren't as sharp as the Sigma Cines or Zeiss CP3s, but I didn't want that for narrative work. For commercial sure, but not narrative. Thank you for your thoughts.

HI Ray.. Thanks for great video. So, all footage is taken with sony fx9? What about Meike after few months of using... any technical or harware issue issue ? What about customer support? We are very interested on these lenses.. thanks and keep rocking!

Hi there. Glad you enjoyed the review. Yes all of the footage in my example here is on the Sony FX9. No hardware issues so far. And I have taken them across several projects with many different people handling them (talking about my 1st and 2nd ACs). Their customer support is pretty descent. Being in North America (Canada) and the company across the globe, it does take a second to get an answer, but do get back to you fairly quickly. Shipping anything from them does take a long time ... but alas, Pandemic shipping woes ontop of distance. Unless you get it from a near by supplier. Good luck with your decision. Alot of great budget options out there now.
