Hello everyone, just a quick announcement: I'm currently moving home and as is usually the case a bunch of medical tests I've been waiting on are now booked in for November as well. This means my video output for November isn't looking good, on the up side I will have considerably more time to post content from December onward. I have set up a Twitter account now @JTWargaming to provide updates from myself and for people to forward me their painting progress if you so choose. Thanks for all the kind comments and to all my subscribers for sticking around during this complicated time.

The 2nd method seems better for more bone dry skulls that have been in the sun a while....

Yeah its definitely not as fleshy, maybe a good fit for desert themed bases

What software do you use to edit your videos?

    • @JimsTableTopWargaming

I use a slightly older version of Vegas. It comes up every now and then in Humble Bundle software collections where it's usually really cheap for a couple year old version of it. Worth keeping an eye out for it if you are looking for editing software but don't want to pay extortionate prices.

The skulls dont need to be pre-washed with soap and water before applying a base coat of whatever color one would use?

No they can be painted immediately with no prep, the method you describe would be corrected for resin model kits. The majority of Games Workshops line of models are fine to paint out of the box as they are just plastic.

@@JimsTableTopWargaming Thank you. I just got this box myself to add a little something to my D&D creatures and pc bases.

@@JimsTableTopWargaming Pc. Though I thought about DMing a few times. Pretty good at storytelling since I do backstories and extended backstories for my characters. I even connect a few together in some fashion.

@@SilentZombie Fair enough, it's always good to get creative with a backstory and you could always do a "one-shot" where you DM for an evening to see if you like it. Usually when I DM now it's just one shot games since people can't commit to multiple sessions.
