WaterField designs is my favorite bag company. I get all of my backpacks & tech pouches & everything from them. So cool to see.
This is awesome!!! Incredible to hear from the founders and employees of all these bag companies. Thanks for the content!!!
Loved this! Great to see the people and places involved in the industry. Really fun!
I really enjoy all of your videos or at least all of the ones that I’ve seen but this one is by far the most interesting. I am surprised to be saying that because I really like just looking at new bags but getting a feel for the people behind them and a little glimpse or two into San Francisco life was really cool and unexpected this morning when you popped up on my screen. Thanks for making my day, Chase.
Thanks for showing us around. My Peak Design Travel Bag arrived on Friday, after I left for the Netherlands. Can’t wait to get home and check it out!
Thanks for stopping by! Was awesome to catch up 🔥
This was awesome! Great to see behind the scenes of all these bag companies! Thanks and please do it again and more !!!
Awesome video. Love Peak, Mission Workshop and especially Dspatch (the Daypack bag = dope). Thanks for making the effort to visit those companies.
Super nice to see you mix up the style and add some variety, loved the video man.
Killer video! Congrats on 40K subs, can't wait to see a future DSPTCH travel bag review!
LOOOOVED this!!! Would vote that you do more of these in the future!!! Welcome change from all the great reviews.
Very awesome video, I do wish there was more from Waterfield though.
Super fun video man! Great to see some new options of bags I haven't heard of and they're in my own backyard lol! I'm also a bag rotator! My bags of choice are ONA, Peak Design, Think Tank, Hershel, and even a Sony bag. Not all are perfect, but for me they do what I need and look fantastic at the same time. I will say that I constantly get stopped and complimented on my ONA bags. I'm planning on making an extensive product review myself. Would love to see a video on them next. Cheers from the Bay Area!
This was really fun! Thanks, Chase.
Dude, this was an awesome video and you should definitely keep doing these kinds of vids/tours!
Wow wow wow, what an awesome vlog, please please please do more of these, brilliant to see behind the scenes of these companies. What about a visit to AER as that’s what I’m rocking on a daily basis because of you i might add. Brilliant vlog and i cant wait until a CEO says “ yeah this compartment is for my.......papers, my business papers man.
THIS is the video I've been waiting for you to do! Great job!
I feel like I just got access to some VIP, behind-the-scenes, weird secret shit that I'm not supposed to know about, and I LOVE IT!!
Loved meeting the people behind the bags. Great video!
Love this chase, Please continue this as a series would love watching these indies bag makers.
I loved every second of this. Such great stuff going on in SF. I have some Peak Design products and am waiting on a delivery of my first WaterField item. Great stuff!
Great video Chase, I Love my DSPTCH daypack, use it every day to work.
What colorway did you get? I'm on the fence for going with the 3Sixteeen x Dsptch Daypack or regular Daypack
Wild to see the Waterfield shop! Got a bolt because of your vids man.
Amazing, Chase! This is a very cool format too. Keep them coming. Also high-five to Simon!
Loved this! got to learn about some SF makers I had not heard of before!
Just got around to watching this video - great job! It was really fun to watch...
Bird Rock Coffee Roasters! I go there all the damn time. Once saw Malcolm Gladwell working there.
Loved this video. More vlogs, please!
Awesome look behind the scenes!
Great insight. Loved it 👍🏻👌🏻
very interesting tour and keep it real like this one. very cool chase.
Yeah, more of this would be great.
Yup you keep on killin’ it with your content, congrats ol’ chap 👍🏻
Love such behind the scenes videos of these amazing bag brands! More please! (:
Went on these shops tour myself just last month incl DSPTCH, Mission Workshop, Chrome Industries, TAD, Urban EDC Supply...met many cool people and had loads of fun.
waterfield rocks ,style class elegant amazing .get out there Chase, enjoyed this out of the office video mate,
Strongly enjoyed this video, would love to see you do more. I’m interested in a video focused on leather specific bags. Keep up the good, work take care.
Luckily you came to SF before the fires cause the air is terrible right now! Glad you had a good time while you were here though.
Great video man ! Finally you'll review a dsptch bag !!!!
Great video. Do more of these.
This is a nice change , keep feeding us all that good info
Chase man, congrats on the 40K ! Cool to see you vlog too :)
Robert’s books are amazing. His lectures are also online for those interested.
Excellent Vid, more more more, I’m so behind with your vid’s lovely it - fan from UK
This was a great video. Great to see these companies.
Probably your best video!
Rad video! Makes me happier seeing the companies I've supported. I'm from SD, any bag places down here!?
No Gary at Waterfield !? This guy is so nice.
Such a sick video! Would love to hear from the Minaal guys in a similar style video.
That was awesome. Keep it up Chase!
THE MOST INCREDIBLE WORKSPACE IVE EVER SEEN! Everyone is so positive and happy and they are so chill... id love to work there :/ #jealous
This has been a video I've returned to 6 or so times in the last year since it's come out , this kind of extra information is helping me choose a bag, to put my money where I feel both the company and their intentions, and my needs meet.
I really enjoyed this video and learning more about these companies and hearing them (and you) talk about their philosophy of the products.
Are there any more of these kinds of videos planned? I get the impression this was fortunate timing to get this trip in but I'd love for you to do this with other companies (nor just bags, would love your take on some of withings newer non watch products) if possible.
Hope you go to Montana next to visit Evergoods and Mystery Ranch.
Damn, I was hoping they'd have the DSPTCH 3sixteen collab there so we could hear your comments on it. $325 price point seems excessive but it looks dope af. Thanks for work you do.
Yeah I'd like see see a review on that. I'm on the fence with buying it due to the price point.
This is awesome!
Nice Job!
Great video Chase, I am from the UK and there must be something going on here like that but it seems so much more difficult to find. I am starting to amass a pretty good collection of bags myself, just brought two that you reviewed in a previous vid and have several Peak Designs. Great videos mate and brilliant easy relaxed style of presenting, deep it up!!!! Oh and don't worry about the swearing, mate its really funny and adds to the viewing pleasure, to many prim and proper idiots out there
Awesome video man! You should do more of these! And btw, did you grab any bag??? Please tell me you got the Radian from Mission Workshop to review!
Loved this damn video.
Awesome awesome awesome
More time in a single place would be awesome.
Cool video Chase! I would love to work in one of these companies for a year to get more experience and insight into the biz!
that second bag that you called a travel bag looks like the Vanquest I-Bex 35..... hmm
Clearly, I need to head up the coast and visit some of these shops. I was just thinking about how I have trouble deciding what bag to buy without having them in my hand first, and I'm having a hard time finding them in person in San Diego. Switched my search for backpacks to messengers, and was looking again at your Waterfield Bolt review. You didn't happen to visit Bradley Mountain while in San Diego? Their Courier Briefcase would seem to be another contender versus the Bolt or the more expensive Filson bag. Side by side I could probably pick one in a second (or a few minutes).
AWESOME! Please visit more. How about T.B. you know what i'm talking about. Keep up the great work.
Amazing Chanel
love the MW store. went there before. these guys got fantastic bags with wonderful design. a bit pricy tho.lol
I hope Simon was happy to get a photo with Bag Jesus! Turning Velcro into wine since 2016..!
Easily your best video.
Hey chase, great work. Was wondering if you know any bag companies offering good Black Friday Deals??? Thanks!
What sorta hat is that. Looks super comfy
Thoughts on Wool & Oak? Any chance you'd review their new nylon 6-in-1 travel set?
Yes please. Ive been dreading for months for chase to review these bags. But i want him to review the canvas one not the leather one.
"What is up you guys!?" just satisfying my OCD....
Why no Black Ember?
Dope video man... I am on the hunt for a new bag to fit my..... Papers.... My..... Busnisses papers... Man
Dang!....I'm in SD.......coulda took U to In & Out......they have good burgers, hun Donnie!?
@@chasereeves Dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.
Visit Tom Bihn please!
Spec wise the dsptch bags are not impressive but looks wise I love them. I wish chase would review the daypack.
Edit: for the love of jesus review the daypack. You would be the third review on youtube. I think i see the daypack on everybody’s wish list on reddit but no one ends up buying it. Not enough information on this bag!
BecomingIntermediate +1 in a review. Maybe include the 3Sixteen collab as well. Always came close to pulling the trigger on the Daypacks, but the mesh on the back always gives me pause. I think it’s not great for merino shirts and expen$ive layers.
Absolutely. I'm always on the hunt for that perfect mid-sized, lightly organized, thoughtful, understated daypack. DSPTCH ticks so many boxes but I just do not have a good feel for it. I'd love to see it compared to the Aer Fit 2 and Evergoods CPL24.
"Deep it up"!!! sorry meant 'Keep" OBVS!!!!!!!!!!
every1 so friendly....?
The people who make the bags, I just thought they were crafted by Greek gods on the east coast or something
Dude, how are you so cool?
Taffy
Easy. Give a shit about what others think and do your thing. Some will love it and some will hate it. You can never please everyone so why trying?
Why would you Internalize a water bottle insert? But, its a nice sack for the Boyz and girls in the San Francisco. Can you please tell me. Why is it... That hipster bags are not made with a hydration insert? You guys don't drink water? He did his research on military backpacks . All of those have hydration inserts,
Yea, I’ve never had a hydration pack. I find water bottles are totally suitable for me.
Waterfield is the real thing and the best, you should have spent more time there so watchers realize it is the Rolls Royce of bag companies. I have eight different Waterfield bags, I won't buy anything from anyone else.
Where the fuck was Gary?
Yo Chase, it’s me Simon! It was super fun meeting you at the Mission Workshop. Thanks for including me in your video, love it! Having my favorite bag reviewer in a shop talking with me about backpacks, how cool is that?
SIMON!
