btw The grub screws at the back of the unit need a 3.0 allen key and the allen key for the retainer pillars is 4.0 metric.

Thanks for saving my sanity. Had no idea the lid comes off and the screw pulls the bolt up. So used to tightening from below. Mine was as a plastic chrome button to release the seat, not allen keys
Thank you!! Our seat kept coming loose for months and driving me mad, I presumed I had to tighten the fitting from underneath which I couldn’t get to.
This was super useful, and I know no longer have to wrestle the seat fittings back into place on a daily!

Where do you get the Allen key please?
I have a similar toilet seat the lid is no longer soft close. Spent ages taking it off with the Allen key and greased up the cylinder but it made no difference. Can anyone explain how to fix the lid from not soft closing ? It seems the lid doesn’t come off the seat and no amount of grease fixes it. Thanks !
One side of my toilet seat has come off. It just won’t go back. The other side is immovable and won’t release. The video makes it look simple. I wish it were.
I have been trying to fit this for over an hour. I have followed the instruction booklet and I have tried to do it after watching the video. Absolutely impossible!!! Why don’t you make things that are easier for ordinary people to do? I give up!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡

@Richard HE I bought ROCA screw fixings, it works. it is not the exact original one, but it fit ROCA cover.
