Komori softly chuckled as the fox rubbed it's, now, drenched paws against his thigh, almost instantly letting out a quiet whine as the pain still resided in his swollen cheek from the hit of his father. He looked out at the golden creature after a moment of composure and saw it(?) looking at him in a confused manner, ears perked up at the weird sound of pain. "Oh..its nothing, just focus on your leg, little fox" Komori tried. He really did, to at least *seem* to not be in pain. But even he knew it was a pathetic attempt at lying, but a fox wouldnt know that...would it? The fox looked up at him cheek for a moment before clumsily climbing up his delicate, flowery Kimono to reach a bit closer to his face. Cautious to not further injure it's hurt leg, as it's nose poked against Komori's jaw, it suddenly stopped moving. "Eh? What are you doing, litte fox?" Komori's voice was soft, trying not to startle the creature but rather gently pry it away from his face. The fox moved it's little nose further up, now right above Komori's injured cheek, mere inches away from touching it. A soft, calming yellow glow imitated from one of it's tails, slowly twirling and spinning until it reached Komori. Circling around him and trying to move him attention away from the pain of the wound, it worked at least...Komori was mesmerised at the different tricks the little light displayed, even if only for a few moments, still forgetting about the pain. The fox gently rubbed it's nose afainst the wounds, directing Komori's attention back towards itself. After a moments notice, the pain slowly disappeared away, leaving a slightly swollen cheek, now recoving much quicker than humanly expected, and a mostly confused Omega. The soft light circled against Komori once again before going back to the tail it came from and...disappearing as well. "What...what did you do? Why is my cheek not hurt?" The fox merely smiked at him with it's eyes in response, nuzzling itself against the human. That night, *The fox of golden light kept him in comforting warmth.* When Komori woke up in the morning rays, having fallen asleep in the wooden room next to the shrine, he noticed the fox to be missing. Before getting more worried, he glanced at the shrine. Only to see two little foxes engraved into the side of it, he felt relieved and surprised, but happy that the fox was probably safe and sound. Through a lot of confusion and recollection of the way, he made it back home. He, of course, never told anyone about this chapter in his life, and overtime, the memory eventually faded...but it still remained, hidden away in the back of his mind, waiting for the *fox of golden light* to remind him of the event. (>=< that was terrible! I didnt exoect to be writing for 27 minutes 😭 please tell me if it was good or not, and tell me some spelling corrections if i got something wrong!)

Or is it someone else?
This is definitely one of my new favorite series. This was so good and I can’t wait for the next part! That cliffhanger was so annoying tho. Like who is it? I can’t wait to find out.
