I have this hair style too. It's a little out of my comfort zone but hey, it's hair and it will grow. My hair is very dark brown and I can not keep it colored enough because of grey / silver sides. I had high lights but did not like them. Any suggestions.

Yes you can definitely use clippers on the nape then point cut into the top!
