The old classic woodies are some of the best rides and thrills you will ever have.
R.I.P.
This was a cool dual track Woody, but the neglect sealed it's fate. Looking forward to what turns up there in Mexico. 💜
0:47 Rob leave that turkey 🦃 alone
He loves chickens, roosters, hens and ducks lol
😂😂😂
That is cool how the entire ride is one track and every run through is half the ride. Other than Kennywood, I do not know any other racing roller coaster that does this.
The Grand National at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in England is also a single track racer.
Twisted Colossus (before and after its RMC rebuild) at Magic Mountain does that as well.
@@QuickBurn70Montana Rusa was always a mobius loop racer but Colossus in the original version was a twin racer. Each track was exactly the same as the other. Now it’s a mobius loop as Twisted Colossus
It's cute that it's in the colors of the Mexican tricolor flag! (Would work in Italy too!)
Although this roller coaster is going to be demolished for the construction of a new amusement park, we will remember it with that incredible ride that made us scream with great excitement.
It was once the longest coaster in the world.
That’s a shame! This is an iconic inspirational roller coaster. It’s why my beloved Colossus came to exist. It was unique for its time. A might majestic coaster with a mobius loop racing track. It was once the tallest and fastest
Mexican Colossus you'll be missed...😥
I like that. Mexican Colossus. That is an accurate observation.
Hearing of this one's demise makes me sad. I remember it being a lot of fun when I last rode it back in the late 1990s. However, I've gathered that neglect and lack of maintenance did a real number on it.
I am sure it was still fun to ride even if for posterity reasons. You know, something that gave you pure joyous memories
la extrañaremos mucho. Gracias por el homenaje
Hopefully they keep reminisce of this ride as a tribute. Like how they did vortex at Kings island.
3:12 Wow! I would have thought the vanishing announcer would have brought in enough money to refurbish the ride...
It's a real shame. This ride looked pretty good! As always TPR coming in with the great smooth and quality content!
I was a good coaster. A famous icon that was the inspiration for other iconic wooden coasters like Colossus, The Beast, Rebel Yell, American Eagle
RIP 😭

Thank you for this pov the unique evidence to this rollercoaster, demolition in mexico his coming
are there any large racing woodies like this left after the conversion of SFMMs Colossus and the removal of this?
American eagle
Do they have a power surge there
Aww
I know right I'd love if this was
At Indiana beach with the other one we are getting Indiana beach is my home town and park
Am really sadd by this never ridden this one now I want toooi
Looks like RCT2. :)
What company built this ride?
Ah, the famous Mobius loop coaster!
Ok i kinda figured it was, but since the first dispatch to the first drop isn't on this clip, i was wondering if it were. Thanks for the point to clarify this
Very sad to hear this. That means only 2 mobius loop woodies left in all of the world...
I know ones at Kennywood near Pittsburgh, PA.
@@joeheid4757 My home park :)
That bird at 0:18.
Shame - down to two mobius loop coasters in the world now!
RIP 😔
They should’ve contacted Rocky Mountain Construction.
They are removing all the roller coasters from the park. The park will no longer be an "amusement park" like it once was. So calling RMC wouldn't be the solution.
NOOO I NEVER GOT TO RIDE IT
Sadly, neither have I 💔💔😞and I missed out on riding the original Colossus for the last time. If I could go back in time….
Its cool
My god those hills are super jagged lol.
Woah
If it wasn't going to be demolished (idk if it has yet) and if the park was still open I would have said to definitely RMC this.
It was truly awful in its later years. One of the only rides I really prayed for it to be over. Unbearably rough on the last rows.
Really good game 😅
Last ride for Montaña Rusa Defunct Wooden Coaster.
Isn't this the one the Red Bull guy did on a motorcycle?
What will happen with there shuttle loop?
Probs gonna be a Indiana beach,.
Oh no! Will this roller coaster will reopen forever?
No, the poor maintenance lets this coaster down
Hey Mexico...Alan Schilke'll Fix It up good!!! RMC "por favor"?!?!?
Isn’t it mobius
Yes.
This kinda looks like colossus at magic mountain
Sad to this historic coaster go, but the reason it had to go is clear. The operator of LA Feria criminally neglected their rides, and it ultimately resulted in homicide. It is evident that Montana Russia was suffering from the same if not even worse neglect, and combined with its age, it's likely was no longer safe to ever operate again.
At least Quimera got saved and seems to be salvageable from the damage the park caused.
I have to ask, why the insanely long and constant stops on the brake run between circuits? Seems to really kill the ride.
This was built in 1964. Technology wasn’t as advanced as it is today.
How old is this ride ?
It opened in 1964 . It is one of a few rare Mobius loop coasters out there .
Thanks
I was too short to ride it when I was a kid in the 70s. Dad took care of it with peso a payoff to the ride operator
Hasta Luego you old woody bastard. You looked like a neat ride.
RIP
I wonder if they will build a wooden in the new park every is talking about in the comments
No. They announced that the new park would not have any roller coasters.
@@themeparkreview So they are giving the park a major downgrade. Do they think they will make more money by doing this?
I was a legendary roller coaster
OMG
RMC missed out
This is a mexican classic woodie rollercoaster and is really awesome. But this rollercoaster kills your neck and the spine
It was because of a new game that was wrong, there were injuries and I don't remember if someone died but it happens all over the world all the time but this fair closed for not wanting to pay the bribe to the government and they closed it, the same thing happened recently in six flags already they did not happen anything, curiously it did not even make the news... it is sad because it was one of the oldest and largest roller coasters made of wood and functional in good condition... but nothing can be done if there is not enough people complaining worldwide...
I would hate for this to get removed. The new era of the park won’t have any visitors and the park will just close down forever.
Safe the ride let see it get rmc treatment
The beginning of this ride is a huge waste of wood
Christmas Coaster
is this a Minecraft roller coaster
Simple words RMC it or GCI it.
Rip
Too many breaks
Mild.
They should've RCMd it if their reason was to change old rides that gained bad reputation after the park incident with new ones.
As much as I hate to see and old woodie go, that one didn't look like it could be saved. Maybe it's time for another dueling RMC.
Shame
Six flags hubiera salvado está Montaña rusa, me vale que se convirtiera en monopolio.
