- I'm going on a LIDL SHOPPING trip at the start of today's vlog. I'm travelling back home from my boyfriend's house after several days away and have virtually no perishables left to eat. We're paying a trip to the LIDL at Merthyr which is a lovely big one. Of course, I can't resist the bakery section.
This vlog is actually filmed over two days. On Saturday I get chilled out in both senses of the word!!

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We're a UK mother and daughter vlogging combo that loves to get out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.
We're a formerly homeschooling/home-educating family of two based in the UK dealing with the daily challenges of managing Izzy's severe, chronic eczema and her education. Us too! It was lovely to finally catch up. We should hopefully start to be able to meet up in each others' homes at some point in June, as long as the virus cases continue on their downwards trajectory. It's nice to have my girl back. x

Yr bean plants are doing well, mine are still small? Lots of planting on going on today.. including my sweetcorns, beetroots, some more of the tomato plants, a few flowers - pot marigolds, morning glorys, and just realised I haven't sowed any sunflowers!!! Argh, will have to do that today. Lidl has been having quite a good range of plants and usually loads of compost, other stores lagging behind - lockdown troubles probably
I'm extra glad to see your video. Rumor has it that a Lidl is coming relatively near me next year. It was very nice to get a glimpse of what they might be like.
Oh that would be wonderful. The prices are economical and the standard of produce is pretty high in my experience. It’s easier to eat well for less. :-)
So cool to see the pastel de nata! 49p each is quite good... we often get them on special at Pingo Doce - buy 6 for the price of 4 = €1.29 for 6, all to be wolfed in a day 😁😃 Oh, and I'm looking forward to seeing the bakery in your local Lidl as the ones we've been to in Portugal are all like this one.

I got carried away just sitting back and watching this without commenting. Love how much you think of Izzy when you're grocery shopping. I did that too with my kids, and now I do it for my hubby. I always bring home something special for him. It was my hubby's birthday today, and my kids brought all the makings for a chicken barbeque and a lovely black forest cake that is his favorite. I'm so tired.. it's 9:30 pm and I'm ready for bed. Tomorrow is a holiday for Queen Victoria's birthday, so it'll just be a relaxing day for us. Thanks for sharing.. have a wonderful week.. Ohhh I lived in Lisbon for a year from 1999-2000 and August sent me hiding at home with the shutters and windows shut to keep out of the midday heat.
It’s hotter in the Algarve.
