Uh SIR according to my calculations the AA-12 is best sniper.
Good takes, my only slight disagreement is on the Steyr simply because it's so damn snappy. It's quick firing, quick muzzle velocity, quick movement. It feels like a weird bolt action dmr and I adore it. But, this is my opinion, and you made good points.
The steyr is only viable if you're actually insane. But if you heat heads its probably the most fun to use gun in the game.
@@trulers8713 True, I happen to be bad with it but I still find a ton of enjoyment from it. And the best part is when you get on a stupidly long streak with it, that's probably why it's so cathartic to use.
Finally the bfg 50 gets some respect. People hate people for using the bfg, but bfg users use it because it’s a fun gun to use and also for the memes.

Intervention's torso kill was buffed from like 100 to 150 studs and has never been changed.

We really shouldn't care about "respectability" in a game about war crimes (unironically) and just about fun. Yes it has the ability to one-shot cross map (like the other 50 cal sr), buut with a regular sniper you miss a shot, well shite, cycle a new round, miss a few or kill the guy, with the bfg you miss a shot you just sit there in agony reloading for 5 seconds. Despite all that, it's still mad fun, and watching people mald over you killing them is so rewarding. Why do we judge people who use: shotguns, META guns, underrated guns, overrated guns, op melees that require no skill, and most importantly the Bfg. We all act like we never picked up one of the above ever and never used them. Please, for the sake of fun in gaming stop mentioning cool and "respectability" when talking about guns. Also if you want to devolve my comment into an argument, be free to do so, idc🤙

Theres 3 types of snipers :
Serious snipers - Uses Intervention or R700, Tries to headshot , is bad at it
Memer snipers - uses BFG ,steyr scout, NTW and F3000 , Tries to trickshot more often , inconsistent (sometimes cracked sometimes they suck)

I have been wanting to know what it used to be called for a long time, i remember when i first joined the game i picked one up and liked it and then forgot about it after i died but later i looked for it and it "didn't exist", then later I found out they changed the name but I couldn't remember the original name.

I just recently unlocked the SVU, and personally enjoyed it for a while. That is, until I realized it basically never one-shots unless you aim for the head. It does however make up for this with the fact that it's semi-auto which makes it just a little bit less of a headache to use. Still pretty fun tho.
the magazine size, nice firerate and the fact that it's semi-auto makes it more forgiving if you miss a shot. It does fall off in terms of the other snipers but with the long/heavy barrel the ranges get increased a lot and it's actually viable and I enjoy using it.
Guys like make a petition to return the stats on the M107 when it was released 💀

Finally someone said it, that bfg is actually the best sniper in the game with no sarcasm. It kills 1 hit all distances, which no any sniper can do within NTW, but you don't need to crouch. Many people say it is the worst who are self named "chads" that just run and heatshots everyone with Remington, yeah lmao. Nice reviews Steven!

I actually love the BFG. I pre brought it at 32. It’s been the best sniper I’ve had, and it’s way less expensive than the NTW. I would also love to get the NTW. (You can probably tell I am a sniper guy)

NTW-20 is good imo, its ultimate wallbang weapon. and wallbang focused gameplay is really fun and rewarding if you do it right.

I used to main the R700 with a cqb setup (i forgot the exact attachments) for a good few months of playing PF and it was actually decent, until i found a setup on the MP7 that was actually insane and now i barely use the R700. Even after the nerf, Intervention is still my main sniper though, just because how insane it is at long range

Ntw-20x110 is imo the actual ntw, it just takes it and just keeps pushing its numbers UP, it makes it into a more hilarious bfg. You lose the clip size in exchange for an instant kill at ALL RANGES and for a massive increase in wall pen. (Also it makes the ragdolls go into freaking the abyss)

If I’m not mistaken the reason the NTW has low velocity is because it’s an Anti material rifle. Basically the bullet is made to penetrate so it’s big so not good for long range
This list is very good Steven. My boy Intervention will always have a special place in my heart (and maybe R700 my sweaty gun lol). BFG is no mean a "bad gun". It's good but there will always be a guy running it with ballistic tracker which just infuriating to see after you get killed by them.
I'm going to prebuy the BTracker on BFG, because life is meaningless without a little death threat.
finally, someone else who can appreciate the BFG for what it is.
If you want the scout to be usable for most players while keeping close to the same speed, use the .376 conversion. It gives it a 50 stud 1 shot torso and gives you a 2 shot torso up to 165-170 studs. It also has an added bonus of extra muzzle velocity (no attachments stock ammo is 2700, with .376 it has 3000). The only cost is a slower reload and slightly less than half the effective mag size (4-5 instead of 10-11)

Bfg has a bad reputation among sniper mains, it usually is just used to shoot the rank 150 who’s dominating the other team from a mile away, it has a very low skill ceiling in relation to the other snipers like the scout, and there are just better options.
Im personally not a scope type of person unless i use hecate II or styer scout.. when i used the intervention i use a z point reticle, it sounds cursed but it is insane when you can predict wallbangs and where the enemy is gonna be.
Good takes but it leads to my personal problem with the sniper balance in pf, a lot of the higher torso snipers are better because of their high torso range with lacking drawbacks. Headshot snipers have to be precise with their aim, don't and you're screwed. Torso ones, you could care less about hitting the head, sure their either slow reload-wise or cant in their minimum range but it doesn't matter if you're in an optimal position which is not hard at all in this game. Then again this is a personal tangent, i just respect people who use stuff like the Mosin or styer
As a FT300 main i must say that i completely agree with the placement. Is it a pretty bad sniper? Yea. But is it hella fun just destroying a whole lobby with it? Hell yea.

huge W for putting BFG so high. People have to realize its one of the best by power AND by ease of use, and the fact they are annoyed by it doesnt mean the sniper is a noob - its just that the sniper is A/S tier. (my every single kill is a noscope to the head so i can put cringe edgy music and motion blur on it and make it a clip). Also it's so fun to just prebuy it at ridiculous ranks, like I did - on rank 20, and seeing those reactions of people raging and crying over dying to a bfg.

The SPAS-12 with slugs is absolutely nuts. It's more of a SCAR SSR on steroids, but it always kills on headshot.
The only way to correctly use the svu is by using the svu-a conversion and hip firing it at point blank range
the BFG is like the old mule shotgun in the Wild West (Roblox game) everyone hated it because it was cheap, easy to use, and spamable
