We proper stumbled over the line in the playoffs, over the season it was thoroughly deserved but christ they put us Pies through the mill. Chesterfield will bounce back hopefully, the 3 games this season were all tight
This time last week…. I’ve seen all the highlights and all the youtube videos but it’s nice to be able to sit back, relax and watch the full match knowing the result. It wasn’t a good match to watch live. Should get a 50% refund on the cost of my seat…I only used half of it 😅😬😆 In the end justice prevailed, credit to Chesterfield - you’ll do well in the NL next season. ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️🏆
As the saying goes; there has to be a winner and looser. You've got to feel for Chesterfield. Football really is a sport that just has the most amazing stories. They were neck and neck with Wrexham all season and to join them is oddly poetic.
We pretty much controlled the ball for large parts and I was not that concerned with their threat apart from at the start of the game and after our goal in normal time. Chesterfield are a decent hardworking team, not a lot of flair in there but they get the job done. Dobra has potential but his antics will hold him back going up a level unless he cuts them out.
