Mole in the Ground

  • It's good, and also fun to play tunes in different tunings from time to time. I typically play Mole in the ground (aka Tempe Roll Down Your Bangs, aka Lizard in the Spring) in gCGCD, but here it's in eCGCE, giving it a much warmer and sparkly vibe, and allowing for some more dissonant chords. What tunes do you play in more than one tuning?

    Two finger with some brushing? Gives the tune a hypnotic sound. Beautiful mate.

      Yeah sort of an index lead two-finger, but still with some clawhammer thrown in. Pull-offs on the drop thumb, open string pull-offs, two strings tuned to E. Makes for a magical sound for sure. Thanks for the kind words.
