I woke up from a horrible nightmare last night where I dreamt that one of my kids were possibly missing. In this nightmare my heart was thumping so hard I felt like it was about to burst. My chest felt incredibly tight and it was becoming increasingly difficult to breath. When I woke up from the nightmare my whole face was wet from tears and my heart continued to throb and ache for the rest of the morning just from the memories of this bad dream.
It was at this moment where I got a tiny glimpse of what the Palestinian mothers and fathers are going through right now. Only for them it’s not a nightmare, it’s very real.
I ask Allah for help for the Muslim umma and all those oppressed around the world. May Allah ease the pain in the hearts of these parents that have lost their beautiful children recently 😔
