I bought my wife one with a 5700u a few years a go.
It has upgradable ram and SSD. works great. Amazing battery life.
Do the new ones still have upgradable ram and SSDs?
That was the main reason I went with HP over other brands.
I believe this will depend on the model you are looking at. Most of the devices now will have warnings if you open up the case. I wouldn't recommend it. There are some models in HP that are still upgradable
I have hp envy x360 15 (2022) .. it's good... But I'm worried about the hinge.... The 2020, 2021 had bad reputation interms of the hinge.... It breaks easily

Hey hey!! I noticed similar issues in previous so I totally understand. This new series feels stronger, but bear in mind it’s never easy to guarantee. So if you do buy, the warranty is there to back you
