What kind of guns do you have that actually require strength to fire? Even a gun with heavy recoil can be fired once by a weak person with bad form(no garuntees on the person's well being after the fact(

I'm pretty sure this was set during the French and Indian War, where the majority of the troops were British colonialists-- they all had American accents by that point, they just didn't have an "America" yet.

I love Franny! He's my favorite character they've created. Because he's played perfectly by Jason, is an exasperation to Matt's charming character, and, he makes me think of Percy Blakney AKA The Scarlet Pimpernel!!!

This is my favorite sketch because of Franny, Jason is amazing. BTW, like the Scarlet Pimpernel, he is the one who really wins battles by using his wit instead of brawn. Words stop wars, guns create more fear.
This reminds me of a mix between The Scarlet Pimpernel 1982 and Black Adder the Third 1987.
I just love Matt/Captain's "Oh no" before Franny showed up.

No they let him go back to the commander the first time
George Washington was dead already by this point and had nothing to do with this war anyway. This clearly takes place during the war of the second coalition against the French Republic, judging by the British flag (which is the one they had since 1801), the fact that the French are wearing blue instead of white and the fact that Napoleon is mentioned.

I just realised, so Matt fought against the US in the American revolution, which ended in 1783, let's say he joined then. Then he's now fighting in the Napoleonic war which are 30 YEARS LATER!!! HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE.
