At the time Marco Reus had a long injury. After he came back he took the position and Gotze had to change his position and the season after that with Favre he had to play as a number 9 !! and sometimes as number 8 ...
Rode wasn't seen enough in the team and always they were saying he is injured.

Let me refresh your memory. Weigl was one of the best middfielder in the bundesliga(under Tuchel) but unfortunately he had a long injury it took him one season off. then they brought Dahoud Witsel and Delaney so he had to play as a full back !! which is not his position. and not only they made him play in another position. they brought Emre Can ! and they were planing to get Neuhaus ...
I know that Knauff is on a loan. But I am sure he won't come back to Bvb. you know why ? because They brought Adeyemi and they want Moukoukou to renew his contract and also Reyna

Bvb last 5 years showed a very poor management. Players with good potential or had a little drop in their level they get rid of them very quickly. But very bad players they stay or they get their contract extended.
Look what happened with some players they almost kick them out of the club and now they are sold very expensive : Isak and Gomez !
But like I said. For now on Bvb wont sell any player to Bundesliga because they can make them better opponents and cause them direct harm !

Hah, they said they want to be Bundesliga champion and stop Bayern Munchen domination, but get smashed by team like Eintracht Frankfurt by four gol to nil, how you can be the Bundesliga champion if you perform like a mediocre team?
