This is the only channel that shows makeup hacks with actual people who have issues in their skin ! Like so many beauty gurus out there showing how to conceal dark circles with no dark circles or blemishes
These methods take a bit more time but honestly doing your makeup more precisely gives you a near perfect result. ❤️ It's so worth it I will be using these methods. This channel is the only makeup channel where I have found extremely useful makeup and beauty tips.
I love that Peachy make sure to remind us that while we are learning to cover up the acne and smile lines, it is natural because we are human, and you shouldn’t be covering it up every day. This channel is such a healthy place to learn about makeup 🥰
Tried the tips for dark circles and I think it's definitely worth trying! Managed to cover my severe dark circles pretty well but the tear troughs/grooves is still visible, although it does look much better than before. Need more practice to perfect it. Btw, I used a matte white eyeshadow for the matte highlighter part instead.
Hey 👋🏻 I found a technique that you might like for the tear grooves ☺️ I have cool olive undertone and I find it hard to brighten up that area. I use a yellow based concealer and I tap on some pink or peach toned concealer 🍑 if you have the same skin tone, then it might work for ya! 😊I know it’s scary since my skin is olive and why on earth you think a pink toned concealer would help but trust me, just grab any ivory or light to medium concealer (depends on how light or dark your skin is).
To help yourself try looking up exercises to depuff undereyes or if you’re like me , I have a dent instead, they’re really helpful if you do them daily, also use castor or almond oil under ur eyes, and see what works for u.
I think that eye bag conceal trick only works if you're not already the lightest foundation shade lmao. I'm a make-up artist and for those who already have the lightest skin shade: take a peach or coral concealer or not as strongly pigmented non glittery lipstick and apply just a teeny tiny bit to cancel out the blue/purple. Depending on your undertone if you're pink or more yellow you might need to either go for peach or pink. After that you can apply that conceal trick she uses here and just finish with a skin tone matte powder. Not white. White powder on the lightest skin shade is gonna cast a serious white powder effect. It will not work.
This is honestly one of the best make up channels on CZcams. I always learn something new. Also, I find it interesting that I've come to discover a lot of these methods by myself while experimenting with makeup. Guys, don't be afraid to things differently!
I have dark acne pigmentation and I found that using concealer that is close to my foundation really helps. I also leave the concealer on for a few minutes (while i do eyeliner) before blending.
If you have little bump acne/ combination acne, here is my life journey that helped. 1. Wash sheets/ pillow cases, and towels more often. 2. Use salicylic acid spot treatment. 3. Look for a moisturizer with a ph level of 5.5. 4. If your breaking out in a certain area, its time to clean your makeup brush that you use in that area! 5. Use a face wash with glycolic acid, I’ve used the Dermesse clarifying cleanser for like 7 years. 6. Stop picking, if you cant, get dip nails lol it helps being unable to pick at skin. 7. Use oil absorbing sheets. 8. Cut out sugar and dairy as best you can. These seriously will change your life try to follow them all at once to have best results. You should notice a difference within a few months. If anyone has any questions I started having acne in 3rd grade and have been thru a lot and learned a lot and am happy to help and share!
I’m very pleased that videos like this exist because there’s a strong misconception / idealization in the west that it’s the norm that Asian women don’t have any blemishes, poreless perfect skin like baby’s butt… As an Asian girl in her 20´s struggling with hormonal acne thank you so so much !!!
i didn’t want to watch this at first bcs i’ve watched countless other youtubers “teach” me how to cover up blemishes and none of them worked (i even bought a color correcting palette like they told me to), but these tips are actually useful and way more informative! thanks for compiling all the different skin concerns 💗 edit: the darker concealer in the middle of the acne is GENIUS
Hey I just wanted to know if your skin is on d paler side or darker cuz idk if the white powder thing works And do you think it will work well with no foundation on the rest of the skin for an almost natural look for school and stuff
I tried it and it does work, I’m actually shocked. It does look a bit cakey but I wasn’t using a creamy concealer. I’d recommend powdering under your eyes before putting on the concealer so it doesn’t settle into your fine lines and so it will last longer.
I struggle with tear grooves since that I'm a kid and I'm really tired to always look tired lol. I'll definitely give a try to this 1st technique ! The thing is, I'm no longer in my 20's and I'm a bit afraid to put layers of products on my undereye area, especially powder products bc it emphasize the fine lines and texture so much. I'll try it tho
I just cussed so many times. Like holy shiett. I've tried multiple methods to cover my dark circle. But this one definitely WORKS like magic. It's so simple and it works wonder. Natural and not cakey. Oh my god. This is sorcery fr, so little product used oh my god 😭
Ohh thank you, the part about covering smile lines was extremely helpful. I’m almost 30 and noticing lines around my mouth area. Will definitely be incorporating these tips
Oh my god thankyou so so much i can actually cover my tear grooves AND my dark circles without it being cakey and its actually effective for a long time!! You now have a new sub
Maybe u had already known it if u have a red acne u can use a green concealer to cover it and then apply foundation. I bought a concealer palette from china (actually all my makeup products lol), cheap and pretty. Especially the foundation has variety tone 😉 from tan to light skinnnn
Dude I literally love you!!! Like you have opened my eyes. I was always feeling so insecure about soo many things, but you have made me see beyond the surface. I feel so much better about myself because of you. Hope you are doing well. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have really dark circles and tear groves and I really wanna try the concealer method but I’m not sure a white highlighter will work for my brown skin ╥﹏╥.
You don’t need to use a white concealer you just use a concealer that is 3-4 shades lighter than your skin tone. So that could be a light brown. She goes with white because she is very pale and is imitating the lightness effect, which you can do just with a darker one that imitates your light shade
@@Grace-mb8tb ahh thank you so much for replying😭💕! I’ll try to pick up a brown highlighter and concealer next time I go makeup shopping so I can test this out.
I used light cream eyeshadow and it works better! May i also add? I have tan skin, and this technique didn't do that well (like peachy did) so I add orange-peach color corrector lightly (not like west guru teach us until we look like a clown), blend it out evenly only on the dark area and start the technique on the video. Of course with shades that matches my skin tone. Hope it help!
I'm 6 months late but i think you're probably aware that they have uploaded a video on lipstick colors according to skin color and undertone and it's another comprehensive video
oh my gosh this video is god sent!!! this really gave me hope for my tear grooves thank you so much! does anyone have recs for a matte highlighter powder like the video shows?
really love the 1st tutorial for the under eye. ive been using it a lot and it looks like i dont have eyebags at all. the inner eyebags i use orangeish concealer and the outer lines i use lighter yellowish concealer since the purple/blue lines are more prominent there
Wow. You even put what concealer they wear and brushes that they are using. Thank you so much!! I can't wait for my glow up!! But first i need to lose some weight than i'll move to next step!! Again, Thank you so much!! 😍❤️😊
This will help so much with the dark circles under my eyes…I’ve had this issue since I was a toddler, no matter how early I go to bed! I’ll go to bed at 6pm and STILL have dark circles under my eyes that look no different to the color of PURPLE. And I also have that puffy thing under my eyes naturally what ever you call it and it make my dark circles even worse 😂. THANK YOU.
I tried that technique for the dark circles, since mine are very pronounced (and blue/purple) It does work to a degree, I don't look as sickly and tired as without it. It doesn't cover it perfectly though, you can still see the dark groove when I tilt my head down or there is light above me. But it already looks better than it did before ^^ Though the products do collect in my thin lines under my eyes every time (I'm 30). I have a rather young looking face for my ages, but the lines aren't that great to look at
Hi, have you tried using orange corrector/concealer for your dark circles? It's a wonderful way to cancel the blue and purple shades to apply foundation or another concealer that matches your skin tone. To apply the orange corrector, put some on your dark circle, let it set for a few seconds, and pat it out with your fingers lightly. Then you can apply the 2nd product on top with your usual tools
@@cleliaoconnell3705 Yes, I've tried that many times with correctors from different brands. I used yellow, orange, nude and peach/salmon colored correctors. But my shadows always shine through. Sadly I've had them since I was born
