DCP RELIGIOUS ACCOMMODATIONS || Receiving a Religious Accommodation - Disney College Program

- Hello and welcome back! As you may know I am moving to Florida May 8th to be a part of the Disney College Program or DCP. One of the questions I had about my program was how to put in a request for a few religious accommodations as well would they even be accepted? This video shows you the entire process from start to finish!

Thanks for making this video! I’m no longer looking into the DCP, but this is so important. I always wondered about this stuff because as a fellow Christian I also wanted to make sure I could always get to church on Sunday and only do things I was comfortable doing. God bless!
Hi! This is so helpful! Have you ever heard of anyone getting an accommodation for church obligation for Easter? I know that it is a major holiday that CP's need to work but it's really important to me that I can go to church that day! :)
Hi Brookelynne! I just came across your video because I’m starting the DCP in October and I filled out a religious request because I’m Jewish and I need Saturdays off. HR called me back today to let me know that they could not accommodate my request, they pretty much told me the same thing they told you. I was just wondering since you’ve started your program were you able to get it worked out? I’m a little worried about it.

So far I have only had to work 1 Sunday and even then they made my shift be at 3 pm so I could still go to church before hand. I have also talked to some coworkers about trading shifts so if I needed to I could hopefully find someone to trade with.

i am also looking for a religious accommodation as i am seventh day adventist 🌸 it’s been rough,, trying to get a response has been hard :) but i am trying my best! just started last week and first day of training was yesterday 💕 would be nice to meet you, as we are both christian !!!
