other games notoriously aren't optimized, but Nintendo, was, and no longer is optimized because of this decision of adding a button push between lives. It wasn't necessary to do before, but now it is. Is this a sign that the industry is changing? What does this do to gamers? In the future because society will certainly be changed if this is a new status quo. This is the philosophy of gaming.
I'm not joking. I turned the game off because it upsets me that Nintendo literally changed it after the release so now the game makes you push the button to play again after you die. That's what it is, it's another statistic, and it slows down the momentum of the game, and frankly, considering that's not how it was, but was changed to do it, really some a new light on the industry. I cant even play this game any more because no other super Mario bros games that I've ever played has ever done this before, and it changes the tempo, and I think Nintendo did it because of the statistics other games are starting to set as industry standards. Why else would they do it? I've been very fair with my joy and disappointments with Nintendo, so consider this objectively. A pebble can start a landslide.
You know that you can change the setting so that the badge selection screen shows up only if you press the R buttun during the loading screen, right?
