- This was the first video I actually recorded for my CZcams channel with the great assistance of Julianne who took a disaster and made it make sense. In a drastic attempt to try to learn how to cook this year, I thank many of you for following along the ups and downs of my journey.

I owned and operated italian restaurants for 30 years and I wish that my staff washed there hands as often as you did. You made me laugh and actually the dish looked quite good and appealing, good job. You and your family are Christians and it really shows, your very special. God bless

Jules did such a good job with the editing here. Katie's face attached to all of the germs really made the video for me.

Of course I am too. I listen to her singing her songs "California" and "Finally Going Home" every day since I found the Petersen family videos. Such a beautiful lady all around.

Your prep time was so funny! When I got married my wife couldn't boil water. I taught her how to cook being a single for 24 years. Being a member of a hunting club the men could do some awesome recipes. You are now ready to sweep a man off his feet with dishes like this! Love your music talent it is a blessing to so many. This is the first video I have ever seen where Katie was on her own by herself. I never realized what a great sense of humor she has. Love the UPS Man comment. lol
It doesn't say "Make America Great Again". It says "Make America Grate Again". There's a picture of a grater on it, which is used from grating cheese among other things.

It would be an honor and so much fun to cook with Katie. I told both of my children that a true test of any relationship is whether or not the two people involved can successfully cook, eat, AND clean up together.
Katie, I'm with ya there on handling raw Chicken! I CAN'T STAND IT!! I had a very BAD experience with chicken fat years ago and now I am so creeped out by it! I have to wear surgical gloves to handle it and use tongs like you did while cooking it! You did AWESOME by constantly washing your hands as well! Love your smile and attitude! I love to cook. I love your music Katie. Consider, having the meal fully prepared, BEFORE you invite your boyfriend over for supper. The table set, the meal prepared, and you all dolled up. Some mood music playing... you know the drill.
Focus on your conversation, smile... you’re pretty and smart, your cooking ‘technique’ wont factor in if he’s not there while you prepare it. You’ll win his heart with your charms and your smile... and your delicious meal.
Cooking requires practice... In a few years of practice, watching some cooking shows, tips from your mother, yada, you’ll master it.
I recently came across your family’s music, and have enjoyed listening to several hours of it. Liked it, shared it, subscribed... you are an amazing young lady. A baby sister in the Lord, I’ve yet to meet. Blessings Katie! Merry Christmas.
