You know what would have been cute- if when showing the LED lights, the friend was looking at the listener instead of the lights and tried to play it off- not only does it give more of a show by telling (because I would have wanted more “I’m in love with this person” vibe) but it also develops the character’s relationship with the listener (which I get is best friend, but it seemed you went from “just friends” to “lovers” really quickly with no real motivation) that being said, this was cute
