If anyone is curious this movie is EVERYTHING!! scary but not cheesy jump scare scary, great plot, lots of suspense. The actors are amazing!! The 2 leads are wonderful! They actually do a good bit of character development for such an action packed movie! It's got a medium level of gore without being you know...overly 🤢. There's a bit of sexual tension- surprisingly which really helps build the overall tension. This movie will make you scared, happy, nervous, angry, frustrated, worried, grossed out at times...all the things. There's a surprise you learn about 3/4's of the way in. The female lead is gorgeous- I could watch her fall day. My advice is to stay away from comment sections like these because you don't want the surprise ruined. Even though I didn't give any spoilers, some a$s hole is gonna ruin it. I'm a huge movie fanatic and this is the best one I've seen in a long time! 10.5/10
The first 15 minutes of the film were really good, but then the movie just started to lose me. SPOILERS: The guy is a vampire. She runs around the city trying to survive until sunrise and eventually meets up with this secret organization of women who have been waiting centuries to kill the guy. Their big plan was to lure him to a room with spray painted windows, so he can't tell when sunrise is, and then break the windows to expose him to sunlight.
I'm surprised no one is talking about how the first scene in the trailer never happened in the movie and instead they changed the story which made it so confusing that she cared what the client would end up looking like. Also, “the only person who can help you is a survivor” scene did not happen as well. It looks like they had one idea in mind half way through filming then threw it out and filmed a whole other story. Never truly explained why he did what he was doing or what he was because at one point ‼️‼️SPOILER‼️‼️‼️ he was a vampire and then he was a demon... But if you can look past the plot holes and confusion then it's a decent watch.

Tessa Thompson did a good job in this film. I thought her performances in CREED Franchise were great but this one may have been her best performance in a movie ever.

We just watched this movie, it was pretty suspenseful for most of the movie, the main actor, she was great......then it turned into the most extreme anti man movie, where the evil angel was protecting the patriarchy. It could have been still good if it hadn't gone so over the top. My wife who was really enjoying it at first, said, I know where this is going even before I did. Instead of a suspenseful end, we were both laughing our heads off, the nice bottle of wine helping us along. 😂 On a serious note, this woke messaging is becoming repetitive and formulaic and as a result loses its effectiveness by becoming comedic. This is why all these shows are failing and the movies are failing at the box office. They talk about never having strong female characters before, but I remember lots of really believable, strong and leading female characters right through the past 50 years of movies I've been checking out. Now they're just parodying strong females and making both them and the males ALL look stupid.
It was cool but I felt like the story was rushed. We really didn't learn who he was or what he looked like when not in his human form. We didn't learn much about the first lady either or the girls she'd rescued. What happened to her boss and his wife? How much did she know and how many girls had she tried to help? And I feel like the villain's death could've better alot better than just him being burned. I mean he fuckin ripped her ex's head off and killed her former best friend and all of her homies, he should've been tortured a little then killed.
Just finished watching this. The movie is well made. I was enjoying this movie right up to the part where a "patriarchy" origin explanation is given for the antagonist. That was a huge turn off. Can't they just make movies now without lecturing us or insurting agenda. Most of us sane and rational people are tired of this "woke" garbage.

I hated this movie. Bad dialong. OK acting. But the plot....horrible. I love horror and suspense movies. I can sum it up pretty easily without giving the whole thing away: Men are bad and working with evil VS Woman Power. ✊️ That is the whole movie in 2 sentences. The whole plot is based on this.
