LYRICS:
i get high. i get low.
but that’s the way these things go.
i saw my face in the mirror and lo i know i’ve changed
though i look much the same.
i found grace in the black water. bathe my soul
and tell my heart. i told you so.
i lay like bait in in a lions cage and wait for my time to come.
i’m begging please i need this so much more than you will ever know.
i get high. i get low.
but that’s the way these things go.
i saw my face in the mirror and lo i know i’ve changed
though it looks much the same.
i found grace in the black water. bathe my soul
and tell my heart. i told you so.

I don't think Breaking Bad has a single bad song
@@wyattwilbourne8601 The Happy Birthday song Skylar sang to Ted .
@@kaiserj1982 Thanks I hate it.
@@kaiserj1982 Shut the fuck up. Just as overhated as Skyler.
Munzur Baba dude chill, that song was weird as fuck. Has nothing to do with the actual character!
This song is a perfect fit for Jesse Pinkman. I can’t wait for El Camino.
Eli Ridsdale Indeed. While listening to this your profile pic had me thinking of somebody else that this song would be a good fit for as well. If you know you know. Just thought I should put that out there. Outlaws for life. ✊
One more big score
I really liked it. It was was a perfect ending to Jesse's journey.
Jacob Smith we will have enough money to leave
U are a legend man .You like breaking bad and red dead redemption 2 :)
(Same btw)
This song has existed for 5 years and all this time we didn't even know it would be used to promote the return of our favourite ever TV show 🙏🙏🙏
I always wonder how they find those songs.
Widdums7 I would have wanted to see a film series since the movie was called “A Breaking Bad Movie”! I thought it would be a set up for anthology series!
The Return? It's been back for a long time in the form of Better Call Saul?
I listened to this in one of my most depressive times when I was 16, it's not as depressing to me now, but it still sounds like grief.
@@jonah5580 nah
Idk what it was with this song, but hearing this on the new El Camino trailer really made me teary eyed hoping for Jesse to finally find peace and closure.
Eddie Chedz same, it really got to me
lets hope he doesnt die
Right! Poor Jesse has been through so damn much. I enjoyed the movie though 😭
Its the leslie ;)
He got it. We can chill now.

It's amazing how these lyrics matched the scenes of el camino trailer. Jesse looking into mirror, he changed but look same, bathing in water which turned black with dirt, bathing his soul with all the marks on his body from the torture in the cage.
He is like the Jesus of the show. He was was tortured by nazi pricks, he was kept in their prison, he enjoyed Carpentry, he is the moral compass of the show, He is more pure hearted compared to other characters. He has long hair and beard.
@@R_Yumad That's a very interesting take, actually. Never thought of Jesse like that before.
Wish I could've found this song sooner

Honestly my grandfather used to play this song but after watching ' The Trailer ' I am here again.
Miss him.
Breaking bads soundtrack never disappoints
I agree my lord
Breaking Bad's*
Jesse has been through so much and this song is perfect for him
God I love the “I’m begging you, please. I need this so much more than you ever could know.”
That's not how it goes
Do you even know what that means he's waiting for death and he's begging for it that's the most sad line in this whole song😢
This song bout to blow up
just watched el camino after finishing B.B last night, amazing film. Amazing to see the juxtaposition in Jesse and Walt's ending's. Wish this song got used in the credits though.
Can’t wait to watch El Camino (finished BB and working through BCS right now), and your comment is great, but I just had to laugh at seeing a comment about one of the darkest tv universes ever made by “pacmanfan2001”. The juxtaposition there is hilarious.
same, just watched both and now onto better call saul. I love how at the end of breaking bad Jesse's driving away screaming and breaking down but at the end of el Camino he's smiling happily
If this doesn’t play at my funeral, I’m not dying.
The whole trailer should've been a slow, B&W pan across a hotel room while this music plays, and as it reaches its conclusion, the camera pans up to a weeping Huell, still sitting on the edge of the bed (fade to Netflix logo)
thedungeondelver I’d still watch it
Lol 😂
Thank you director! lmao
That actually sounds pretty cool
I love your mind.
Huell is reasonably happy after listening to this song
El Camino trailer hooked this up!!!!
Edit 11/12/19 - movie was ok, this song was the best part of the movie coming out tbh.
Matched the trailer
The likes are at 420, hopefully no one ruins it
Great song. Trailer bringing us all here.
poor Jesse
Nikola Ivosevic this movie wasn’t ok! IT WAS AMAZING!!!! Hands down the best film of 2019! Sorry, Avengers: Endgame!
This song is too awesome to be that short. Want it to go on.
Breaking Bad always picks awesome music
This song just hits hard
It reminds me of 2020 or The Godzilla franchise if u don’t know what that is
I get high, i get low. Tight tight tight
* *head twitching intensifies* *
Tuko!
Haha nice one whoever you are
😂😂😂😂
Heisenberg says relaaaaax
I love these moments in TV/Film where fans are so hyped about something they (in some cases) have to TRACK down the music just from the reveal trailers and all regroup at the original songs that play in them!
It's weird how only a few comments aren't about El Camino
When the trailer gets more than a million views, you just wait and see...
Seeing the Trench logo and Joaquin Phoenix's Joker in this comment thread on a Breaking Bad Movie trailer is the only reason I'm commenting lol
@@connorhogan6436 Here I'll sacrifice my like for you to lol
AntTheNotSoGreat thanks bro
Eh, I feel differently, as much as I love Breaking Bad, it's a shame to have less people actually praising the musician behind it, I mean that's why we're here right?
Yeah, Breaking Bad gave it attention, but we all still loved the song. It really is great. "I saw my face in the mirror, though I know I've changed, though I look, much the same" I love that line especially, it's a great song, and it's a shame when people don't appreciate the musicians.
Thank you in advance Aaron Paul
Well, I get high and I get low
Oh, but that's the way
These things go
I saw my face in the mirror
Though I know I've changed
Though I look
Much the same
And I found grace in the black water, bathe my soul
And tell my heart
I told you so
I like fate in the lion's cage
And wait for my time to come
But I'm begging please
I need this so much
More than you'll ever know
Oh well, I get high and I get low
Oh, but that's the way these things go
I saw my face in the mirror
And though I know I've changed
Though it looks
Much the same
And I found grace in the black water, bathe my soul
And tell my heart
I told you so
It's “Im like bait”
I like fate doesn't even make sense.
@@Ronam0451 actually its "i look like bait" xd
Actually it's "I lay like bait" 😆😆
I wish I had known about this song earlier. I cant stop listening to it. Such a beautiful song.
Time to this song rise with El Camino!
Still listening to this in 2024 greetings
I never thought a show could spark such an intense emotion. Great song choice
I'm so ready for El Camino!
I’ll admit it, I didn’t want to watch el Camino, but after seeing the trailer on Netflix. Hearing this beautiful song, seeing jesses face and all the memories of the tragedy of BB flooding back, I watched it. Part of me feels like I didn’t need to watch it cause the show ended so perfectly, but the movie gave me final closure for the breaking bad story.
How can a person not love this?
I get that this song was used for Jesse, but I think it fits Nacho so much better now knowing what happens in Better Call Saul
"I found grace in the black water, bathe my soul" Nacho sinks into the oil to avoid the twins
"I lay like bait in the lion's cage and wait for my time to come" Nacho being the bait that Bolsa and Hector take to divert attention away from Gus, waiting for his time to come, in other words waiting for the execution
"But I'm begging please I need this so much more than you'll ever know" The execution is something he needs, not wants. He needs to be killed to save his father from getting involved in all of this.
Those people are the real hero's in this world who would sacrifice there self just to save their loved ones and he did and he needed to so his father would live his live but no son is supposed to go before his father and this is the biggest fear of parents but sometimes it came to pass😢😢
Beautiful comment. I think Nacho is one of the best representations of a good man in a bad game who catches himself too late.
Jesse are nacho
@@andreckbukancyna jesse truly indeed are nacho
You’re right it “could” fit nacho, but there’s a much greater and much much deeper reason it’s for Jesse and not Nacho. Nacho chose that life willingly, he wasn’t used, he wasn’t baited, no one thought they could take advantage of Nacho without him realizing , he was very smart. The reason it’s for Jesse is because he never chose the cartel life, he was brought into it and manipulated by means he couldn’t control. He was a smart but broken guy who was alone and Walter knew he could exploit that. Jesse did what he did because of loyalty and not wanting to disappoint people he care for again. Jesses story is even more tragic than nacho, sure you feel bad but there’s only so much sympathy you can give to someone who willingly made their choices without being tricked or deceived into doing so. Because of one person Jesse lost everyone he ever loved and cared for, his story is deeply saddening and reflects the somber and sad nature of this song much more than someone like nacho. Nachos choices were his own but Jesses choices were never his, it’s why this song is more appropriate and it’s why people have more empathy towards a character like Jesse
Also Jesse was a slave and prisoner to a group of neo nazis because of Walter , the man who killed all his GF’s, and fucked his life up.
Nachos story is sad but nothing at all compared to Jesse.
This song just heals a ton.
Praise god, this song is amazing
Great sound, this was a perfect choice for the El Camino trailer.
I keep going to this song after my parents divorce and my sisters depression, just staying strong for my family💪
How r u doing now man hope everything’s good ❤
We’re all here for the same reason
This song makes me want to re create Jesse waking up but as an adult in my childhood home because of how nostalgic it is. Brings tears to my eyes. Breaking bad was an amazing show, I miss watching it when i was hooked on games and in 8th grade. Now I’m in high school and I already miss the simpler times.

That scene was sick
I haven't got to watch it yet sadly. My Netflix went out the day before.
@@kendrickbradly984 ah that's a shame. It really is a great movie, feels like a longer episode of BB. Some people have said it's slow, but it fills in so many gaps, and the ending is just perfect.
I heard there was some great Flashbacks in the movie though. I did spoil that shootout just now. Sick scene.
You dont have to edit your comment because you got a lot of likes. I dont get the mindset of people that do that.

@King Lewy but meth is what led to his downfall, hos brightest moments were with jesse
King Lewy he loved his family more than anything he only cooked meth to provide for his family
Jedwad Emberpants he only started cooking meth as a means to provide for his family after he dies. But quickly learned how much money he could really make, and it turned into him living out his dream of success. He just used his family as an excuse to justify what he was doing.
