Hello. Do you know car start up scan LED strip. It normal function is when start the engine LED strip is turning on then automatic LED stip and stay turn on untill turn off the engine. Can we use this methode turn off LED strip automatically in few seconds after turning on the engine?

This circuit uses the energy stored in the capacitor to light the led, right? Could you make a version where the the transistor is used as the switch, and the capacitor keeps the transistor closed for a period of time? Ie the light is powered directly from the source..
