FMH Perioperative Services

At Frederick Regional Health System, we know it's stressful to visit the operating room. This 15-minute video takes you through the entire process with the goal of easing some of your pre-operative anxiety. We start with the Pre-Admission Screening phone call you'll receive a few days before your procedure, take you to Registration, the Surgical Information Desk, the Pre-Op area, into the Operating Room and out to Recovery. We'll also introduce you to some of our Volunteers who will keep your family and/or friends informed of your progress while you're with us in the OR.

Too bad they haven't updated this for the current situation, i.e. pandemic. My wife is going in for same day surgery in 2 weeks and all I'm being told is a bunch of nothing!
