WoW! 48 years...Senior Momma. I was hired for AA as a FA when I was 21 years old. If, I would have taken the job back than I would have had 26 years as a FA. I am now, 47 years old, a Nurse and the longing to become a FA never left me, so it is time to apply for FA. Some career callings that keep tugging at you, should not be ignored. Now, I am going to follow my ♥.
Nurse Calls similar situation here!! Applied with AA- received letter for acceptance- became a RN lol!! I’m now 57 and really want to do this. Never say never !! Jumping in with both feet!! Good luck !! Fly safe!

My favorite part of Stella's vlogs is where she says "I'll see you in 9 hours." and then half a second later she's back in NY. I would love for flying to be that fast. Thank you so much for all the work on the videos, Stella. You have no idea how you've helped me handle some anxiety about an upcoming trip.

Stella, I've heard alot of controversy about the new flight attendant uniforms for American Airlines. Personally I feel they really look awesome! Super classy and modern. Are the bad things I've been hearing about them true? Apparently, some crew are having headaches, rashes, itching... yikes
it is true, she said in a comment on another vlog that a lot of the crew were having bad reactions to them.

I LOVE YOUR WINGS and your uniform, and the WAY they look on you!
Do you think loving the way the wings and uniform of a specific airline look like has something to do with persuing an opportunity with that specific airline? I mean is not like what should determine your options when applying!
I ask you this because I once applied for an airline that I was not very excited about the way their wings and uniform looked like. I was not hired by them at the end, so honestly I was not that unhappy about the results but I ended with mixed feelings deep in my heart because I do want to fly.
I guess feeling proud of wearing your company's uniform should be important!

my hair is just like yours thick and curly/wavy. Try dove quench absolute, it really helps with the frizz and really helped tame my hair. Makes it so its curly and wavy but with out the frizz and it doesn't leave you with oily hair. I have oily scalp already but this is awesome for our kind of hair :D oh yeah I put it on after i shower and a little of it goes a long way.
Do you guys have crew rooms on layovers? Like let's say you were in London and you were heading back to America do you have to go to a crew room to check in for a flight?

Hi Stella. Just another question, whenever your say "pass through security" do you mean security as in baggage xray and all those stuff or does it include immigration. Do flight attendants pass through immigration? and do you need visas whenever you go to a specific country? Sorry for asking a lot of questions. An avid fan here. Hehe. :D
