Yes Darshil, I wanted to learn Data Engineering in depth...right now I completed Big Data Engineering certificate course..wanted to entry in this domain..but somehow I feel I need to understand the inner part of the data generation....
Data Engineering has been a blessing in disguise for me. I come from a Statistics background and the 1st job that I got is in Data Engineering. I had no clue what I'm doing for the 1st few months. But gradually this work grew on me. I started to find my work interesting. So ya, after 2 years I can say I see myself on the path of Data Engineering and I'm eager to learn more.
Can't believe you are suggesting it now .I literally started with this book two days ago and i'm 70 pages in, one of the best book for beginners .Data Engineering with Python by Paul Crickard is also a good read
Thank you so much for the explanation and clarifying. Great Job!!!! I moved from Accounting and finance to Business Analysis and Data Warehouse 12 years ago, I worked with lots of different data transformation and migration (ETL) running SQL in MS SQL Sever, Oracle and Terradata. I believe I am more in Data Science but Data Engineering also fascinates me. I want to learn more about. my learning curve should be small. Lots of banks in Canada are asking for the specialization.
I have been gaining knowledge in this DE field for a quite few days and I always hunt for best free/affordable resources for learning anything new. And I also no 1 perfect course or resource in any feild for everyone. And I also got to know that the line between a SWE and DE is getting blur. DE can turn more of a daya analyst and data architecture engineer because of no ETL process but still it has a good solid years to stay as more as it is now. I am so much interested to make my transition into DE. And I got know about this book recently, this book will be very useful for the people who are really interested to get into DE. I am a regular follower of you! You always brings up useful content 🙌 💛. Liked this video👍
My mind's ram is too low but I'm serving as DE with pyspark. I was looking something that will give me End-To-End knowledge about DE. I'm serving teams but still I'm in dilemma what am I doing as DE. Also co-related with your journey of DE. Sometimes it felt same. Short term goal now is to master on pyspark with all configuration. Not sure where will I go in future but right now I'm thankful to you!
I love Data Engineering, I have been learning how to perfect my skills in DE. Thank you @Darshil for all the resources you put out here for us. We are truely gratefully.
this is the best channel to start as a data engineer and here you will get everything related to data engineering and also cloud. hopefully I will get selected.

Always excited for your contents every time you drop a new video. Been helping your community to get in the right direction without any drama in your contents. Thanks man
Great video on data engineering! As a data engineer myself, I appreciate the insights and explanations provided in this video. It's so important for companies to have a strong data engineering foundation in order to effectively manage and utilize their data. The discussion on data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing was especially informative. Keep up the good work!

@darshil Parmar ur video is interesting and I loved the content and the base of the book you delivered. It feels as if I just wanted to go line by line and help the business stakeholders to improve better in their services delivered.I am a data enthusiast and Thanks for the beautiful content delivery I have watched ur video till the end 🔚🎉🌟
Interesting!! @DarshilParmar... being in the #dataengineering field for past almost 5 years, I've realized how crucial is to stick to fundamentals especially as now I am giving interviews for past 15 days! Although back then, this term 'Data Engineering' was not so famous, and we used to multiple roles like DBA, ETL Developer, BI Developer (I started as one!), the core fundamentals are really very important. My favorite part from this has be to understand how the DATA is generated! Because otherwise we'll only be working superficially with any data in my opinion! Thanks for sharing this @DarshilParmar!! 2nd favorite part would be how important it is for dataengineers to understand the business in order to deliver better!
I started learning about data engineering after watching your videos ,before that i was like having a mtech degree with spec. in big data analytics and still not clear about the basic concepts, thankyou very much darshil
A timely video, as I am doing my Data Engineering internship currently. Thank you very much for the book review and recommendation. When we invest in learning, it brings us multifold returns.
Thank you for your video Darshil!! I started my career with data analyst but back then lack of knowledge of fundamentals of data engineering. Your videos are always inspiring me and I am getting more and more interested in data engineering, modern data stack!
I am not from IT but I want to enter it, currently I don't have a job. I saw most of your videos specifically those where u talk about content, like step by step things, where we can find the content for free, I started to learn it. thank you Darshil for ur hard work and thank you thank u for show us a path.

Your roadmap video for data engineering is helping me a lot in moving forward in this field. Thank you for your knowledge sharing and keep uploading such videos because it helps newbies like me. 😊

As developers most folks just focus on the developing the requirement using whatever tool they are told to use or they are confident working with. But as you mentioned in the video it is very important to understand the end user's requirement and also how the data is actually generated from the source. This could have a significant impact in designing the data pipelines in an optimized way so that they are not only able to do the task required but are also tuned for optimal performance.
I'm on a similar journey as you were, learning is scattered and is consistent. Your content helps a lot and provides the insights I'm usually looking for❤️
