If there is ever one person who legit deserves immortality, it's Sir Attenborough.
I second this
I completely agree with this, I would love to meet him one day!!!!!
I don't. Because then he would have to live on and watch humanity literally fuck up and destroy everything he spent his life on trying to save because humans as a species are just idiots and don't know how to save shit as a collective.
Actually, it's Sir David. If he were a lord it would be Lord Attenborough.
I feel this about 2 people - Sir Attenborough and Gandalf (Ian McKellen).
95 years old and still doing his best for the planet, this man is a legend
He is the teacher that earth needed
Definitely woke up a lot of people to the reality of our self destructive acts. Taught me that we are one with nature 🥲
Yes he is!
He could be my aunt!
Yea
I love ❤️ Sir David Attenborough
sloth: casually existing
Sir David Attenborough: "this mobile compost heap"
never fails to crack me up hard, what a legend
He is so cringe I can’t wait until he dies and everyone cries 😭 I’m going to get so much fun out of trolling nerds who cares about this old geek 😂
I mean he isn’t wrong. But they’re useful for keeping a bunch of bug species alive
😂 he basically rosted the shit out of vegetarians
My favorite is him squatting on the ground and rapping is knuckles on the dirt like knocking he looks up & says I'm talking......to a mole rat. Cracks me up just being who is! 💖💚🐸🌿
The fact this man can still walk, climb ladders, and just be an all-around amazing human being is amazing to be. My grandfather can barely even walk now, and he is not even 75 years old. And this man is 95 years old and doing stuff someone half his age is doing. KEEP ON GOING STRONG SIR ATTENBOROUGH.
At 95 most people that age would be using wheel chairs
Lots of exercise and exploration keeps you spry!
When you look after nature, nature looks after you

Sir Attenborough saying 'boo' to a Sloth never fails to make me chuckle.. He is truly an icon with a sense of humour.

the bird imitating cameras and chainsaws killed me.
My condolences 🙏
i watched a video where dude talks about evolution, and his parrot in the background is meowing like a cat entire video
Actually that’s very sad that the bird can do those sounds cause that means humans are destroying the habitat they live in to urbanize them and sir Attenborough mentioned it in the same documentary. It’s well known Australians have single handedly caused many of the current issues they suffer from the war against emus they deployed the army to shoot emus and they lost that war and wasted ton of money, the wall they made to block dingos on one side of the land which caused a burst in the population of kangaroos whom then depleted the land by eating the grass which in turn caused many parts of Australia to become deserts and the result is now they face wild fires annually at any given moment and the those are growing annually which in turn caused hundreds of animals to now lose their habitats and die in huge numbers, they messed with the oldest eco system they have.
@OfficialQueenOfSwaga it is a sad reality but still incredibly fascinating to see what kinds of sounds birds can initiate
Birds are fascinating, I Iove them. We currently have these IittIe brown wrens who apparentIy now think our pIace is their pIace 😂. They scold me when I go outside and wiII even sit on the ground a few feet from my son when he is working on the car. They Iet him know who the boss is. It's hilarious. 😅 No one toId them that they're smaII birds, they think they're Iike a pack of woIves. It's awesome to Iive among nature.
When he said "Good luck, little leatherback" it pulled at my heart strings a little
I had the privilege of briefly meeting him. He has a unique skill of making you believe that you're the only person in the room who matters. I'v never met anyone with as much charisma as him.
Well, if he can do that to animals.... no doubt.. haha!
Hes a legend and you are lucky.
Thanks for sharing the anecdote...

He values all life
The greatest narrator in the history of animal television
But the lyre bird stole the show this time
Definitely
History of television full stop
2 best documentary voices, and also polar opposites: Attenborough for optimism and Herzog for nihilism
There will never be another human being like Attenborough
Sir David Attenborough is the living embodiment of "carry your childhood with you and you'll never grow old."
It’s not very unusual to have David’s admirers in the west who grew up watching him. But imagine someone like me who was amongst the handful of blessed people who had the luxury of having home television in a poor country like East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), back in the 60s and 70s grew up watching him. He inspired me to travel the world and I did. My father who passed away back in 2012, used to enjoy David’s programme with me along with my elder sister who is now a physician doctor in the US. I don’t view the world with the same eyes like many others as I was touched at heart by David.
My cat loved his programmes as did I
Unfortunately, few folks still feel proud in calling their country East-Pakistan, when we all know that Pakistan is nothing less than the begging bowl of the world. No wonder Bangladesh is also going downhill!

The man who saved the leatherbacks is a real hero. We all should learn from his heroic actions.

The dude protecting the turtles is a LEGEND
I know EXACTLY where they are. It's a place in Trinidad called "San Souci", and I've been there many times.
Well...I do live in Trinidad, so....
It was very moving. He is a hero.
Yes, it moved me.
I honestly felt proud as a Trinbagonian.
I’m so thankful for them rescuing the turtles. I know it’s natural but I used to hate seeing the babies being killed by birds when I was a kid growing up.
The Leatherback turtle section brought me to tears. What an incredible turn around for those beautiful animals. I have always had a passion for turtles, I've owned a few freshwater ones in my life.
I definitely teared up. Such an amazing effort. The Leatherback Knight.
Never tasted a leatherback.
I love them too 🐢 and saved a few common snapping turtles myself. I love them, you try to save them, and they try to kill you 😂😂What's not to love ? I would defend myself if some big thing was coming towards me, not knowing it's intentions were good 😊👍🏻
@@HSamee and you better never pal
@@michaelcook2717 I've tasted various so far. Loggerhead, hawksbill and green sea turtles. But that was a long time ago. Before all this information about them being endangered became widespread knowledge. It's actually part of the cuisine where I'm from though it's been mostly phased out due to hefty fines and jail time.
I’m always spellbound when listening to the voice of this great man, Sir David Attenborough
David brought a vibrant world to kids who never seen anything bigger than a local city park. 😊🌸

@@emdiar6588 Yeap! 😊
At the perfect time too because most of it died off in his lifetime.
agreed, i may have known a lot about animals because of books but david makes me learn even more and even if i know stuff already im never tired of hearing his voice explaining what books and other sources don't
the best teacher this planet has ever seen
@Forrest Mcgee Nothing you said has anything to do with what I said, grow up you sad excuse for a human.
Nope, Sir David Attenborough being iconic for the past 60+ years.
He was, he is, and he will always be an icon. ❤️

One of the many things I love about David Attenborough is that even at his age he still holds that childlike love and wonder in his eyes when he’s with animals it’s heartwarming

I love when it cuts from footage of these amazing animals doing their own thing, to footage of these amazing animals doing their own thing but Sir David Attenborough is chilling right next to them talking about it. An absolute gem of a human being.
That turtle guy was awesome: it only takes one person to make such a huge change. But how many would do it?

I don’t think there is currently anyone more deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize than this gentleman right here. Without doubt. 💯❤️

A true Hero, his wisdom and dedication to the Natural world has inspired so many. David Attenbrough deserves the Nobel price for his work. An absolute legend.
He absolutely does
For over seventy years this man has been iconic so just upload all of his documentaries to CZcams already
Sir David's face is always glowing with the light of kindness.
He sounds like he had the time of his life recording all of these, his voice is monotone but calming/soothing, even when his voice sounds more enthusiastic you can tell he gives a very fun performance and narration.
16:57
David : "boo!"
Sloth : "David hate to break it to you but you took 30 seconds to climb up that tree so I kinda saw you coming"
"Sir David Attenborough beong iconic for 17 minutes"
He is always iconic
incredible but true
17? The title says 25
How’d you mess up quoting the title?
The Lyrebird's vocal mimicry matches that of the Cuttlefish's color changing mimicry. Some animals on this planet are just... beyond.
I've learned a lot from him throughout the years. He deserves the Nobel Peace prize.
I don’t know why but David’s voice sounds like heavenly music to my ears from the time I was a kid.
There’s some magic in him ❤️
Hope he lives forever.
That's why I have as many of his dvd's as I could find. I can't get to sleep unless on of his vids are playing.
I can't imagine a World without Sir David's dulcet tones commenting on the Wildlife and Flora of our Planet. My favourite clip has always been, the Superb Lyrebird. Thank you so much, BBC Earth.
Imitating a chain saw and all sorts of other sounds, they're quite fascinating, Lyre birds. They remind me of mockingbirds we have in the states. They imitate car alarms, crickets, whatever they hear 😂👍🏻
Everything that man does brings out a sense of deep respect in me. The knowledge this man has, his documentaries, even the sound of his voice. Even in old age he is and remains an icon.
Ni matter how many times I watch the lyre bird making those sounds, it's still just as amazing as the first time i saw it

I absolutely love Sir David Attenborough, been watching and listening to him since I was a child in the 80’s, just no one else in the world as iconic as him.
THE LIVING LEGEND AT HIS BEST.....LOVE HIS VOICE.
He is the best voice actor and my favorite
I always love the little sound effects of tiny creatures moving around. If only Sir David and Morgan Freeman could have a voiceover-off. The difference is, of course, Sir David's a man of action in the field, even at his age. May I reach my mid-nineties with his level of energy and commitment to mission.
He is the best. A legend who’s heart lies in nature and it’s habitants, the animals. A great man
The man, the myth, the legend.
