A junior ranked army man, Ramchander, one day, picks up his gun and shoots down his two senior officers. The army now orders a Court Martial against Ramchander, to prove his crime and decide his punishment. The play comprises the proceedings of this Court in which the defence lawyer, the extremely sharp Vikas Roy, goes deep into the motive behind the assault and exposes the ugly and shocking truth.
Does Vikas Roy finally succeed in getting justice for Ramchander?

This is one of the best courtroom movie one can see. Amazing casting, no songs, no outdoor shooting, no bakwas..... YET amazing.

Thunder storm, flawless story and acting and a deep soundless ending.
After many many years I've seen such an awesome movie which didn't even need to leave the room, let alone any song.
Enjoyed the film every minute.

Normarally, I shy off from giving my views, but this movie is amazing. Great storyline, superb acting and well edited . The script was also flawless to an extent. Presentation was also well. Few minor mistakes but the credit goes to the actor Rajeev Khandewal. I called him little Rajesh Khanna. The message was clear about discrimination against less fortunate citizens.
The best part about the script in my view was that there was no Religion bashing labeling but purely social superiority of psychotic egoistic human behavior.
I would love to see more movies similar to this one .

I usually don't comment but I like this play. Rajeev Khandelwal and others play very well together.
Thats why I left Pak Airforce .In three years i did’nt obey Even single illegal order officers put me on tuff times and also on charge . I love my contry defence forces but i hate these bloody officers🚮

Awesome Awesome Awesome...... Didn't want to miss a word while watching the movie. However, the defense lawyer gave up the matter of abusing the Mother in the last statement because of which the Major was killed! Could have presented comparison with Motherland since The film is about the army and the army is for protecting the Motherland. The last seen was so filmi.

Around some 20 years back, I have seen this play in Prithvi theatre, Nadira Babbar's group Ekjute, perform this play very often. And This is, I think, has been shot in Prithvi Theatre, Mumbai. The levels on the stage are similar to Prithvi theater

Loved it, just loved it! The whole movie was shot in a single court room, but still each second was intense.
Summary (Spoiler Alert):
Ramchandan (forgive my spelling) is accused to have murdered two of his senior officers. A court martial is called on this case. But the defensive lawyer slowly reveals why and what happened that night. Watch the movie and you will understand the rest.

It is a good film; but had few direction weaknesses.
1. Prosecutor and defending officer only address the court. They do not get into arguments.
2. The prosecutor interrupted the proceedings; but was not snubbed by the court to
speak with permission.
