Loved your video, and you're right about the wood wicks. There's nothing better than that crackle! Could you share where to get that wide of a wood wick? I'm new to candle making and only want to make them for personal use. I'm still in the process of finding quality supplies.

Yes! I personally get mine from Amazon. It’s the 1 inch wide one! I can find the link for you if you’d like

The wood wick does look elegant, but i like your black vessels too! Thanks for the video

Thank you! We are still sticking with the black vessels as well. Actually going to three colors gold, black, and white!

Question does it matter what size you use like with the cotton wicks?

Yes, there are different size wooden wick as well! That’s where the testing will come into play. Wood wicks come in different thicknesses and lengths, I had to go through a few different ones before I found which one works best for my candles. Hope that helps!

Hi! Just subscribed to your channel. I’d love to know which wax you are using with your wooden wicks? I’ve been in an extensive testing phase for many months and not getting the ideal results I’d like to see. I’m using a coconut/beeswax mix and now just switched to coconut 83 (California Candle Supply) as well and it’s still not giving me the ideal results. I’ve tried the diff wicks from Makesy in every thickness (.02, .03, and .04) both in single ply and w booster.
I may have to try a predominately soy based wax for a different viscosity. I am sooo over testing already! 🤪😅😂

Hey! Thank you for the support! I actually use a coconut soy wax. I absolutely love it, and it has worked great for me! The testing can be so frustrating, especially when we are spending money on all of these materials and it doesn't work out ughhh.
If you try the coconut soy wax, I'd love to know how it works for you!
