So I'm curious about your garage setup. You're in Las Vegas, right? So your garage must get screaming hot during the summers. What did you have to do to make it useable during the summer months? Are all your walls insulated? What type of AC are you using in there? I need to start using my garage as well in Arizona. I'm concerned about what I should do to make this all work with my M2 that I'll be getting very soon. Any tips in that regard would be very helpful. I still keep my car in my garage and would still like to do so. So would appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance!
I went through and gutted my garage to the studs. I added R15 insulation to the walls, I replaced the garage door with an insulated steel back door (the old door was falling apart), and I added a Mr. Cool 18,000 BTU mini split so it’s entirely temperature controlled.
To be completely honest, I don’t know off hand. This is a refurbished machine that Epilog provided to me as a loaner for content creation. I’ll have to ask them.
