Underrated - slash just knocked it out of the park and showed the doubters his middle finger again. He's still doing it, and better than ever. One of the greatest in my opinion like Green, Hendrix he has a tone that identifies him and he channels his emotion through his playing.
Marc leseach Don't ever say that, slash and Gary Moore are two completely different players. Gary was a huge fusion player in the beginning but gravitated towards rock in the 80s then he moved onto blues and became one of the blues players of all time. The two are incomparable to each other. They don't even play the same and you can tell that Gary was much more more of a blues player than slash, not making him better but I'm just stating the truth.
Thank you Slash I am not ashamed to say I cried during this masterpiece, it's the music that should rule the world, not money, all would be peace, thank you again and again it was a Eargasm
I must say, being somehow marooned in the 70's, I never gave this man a great deal of listening time: What an impressive guitarist. He has subtlety and nuance and the effortless touch and passion of a virtuoso.
The feelings I get when I listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan tear into a Hendrix tune, I just experienced hearing Slash play in this beautiful, raw Jimmy Page style blues. As a guitar player I am moved by this work of beauty. Thank you Slash! Like Vaughn payed tribute to Hendrix but remained true to his own style, you just did the same thing with JP. Page influenced, but definitely signature Slash. PLEASE continue in this style. A young generation of guitar players are starving for it!
For those still wondering about the chord sequence and scale i think it's this. Tuning- E flat Key- Gm Scale- Gm pentatonic blues, throwing in notes from G natural minor 12 bar chord sequence: Cm, Gm, Cm, Gm, D#7, D7, D#7, D7, Gm, Cm, Gm, D7#9
+taurtue coincidentally those are also one type of blues. as is every piece of blues. pull the blues stick out your ass. just bc he's predominantly rock doesn't mean he can't play.
listen to the solo he did in Hartford in 1993...similar to this progression wise n i think its one of the best live solos he has ever done..one of the best live solos ever for me
il y à deux guitaristes qui me touchent en plein cœur à chaque fois slash et Rory gallagher ,,,et aussi un grand monsieur louis bertignac (bon du coup cela en fait 3)
Slash is an underrated Blues Guitarist, because of all the Rock he plays... Truth is he is just a phenomenal talent!!
I only found out today he did blues also how hot do they get up there I think I saw sweat dripping from his arm
@@ReadingtheBibleforever he always sweats like a soldier, it seems
Underrated??? Ahahahah.
he is so damn melodic. all of his solos, not just GNR one's are straight from his soul. He is a true axe-wielding composer.
The fact that you can see the drops of sweet coming out of Slash's hands is amazing
One of the greatest guitarists of all time!
Underrated - slash just knocked it out of the park and showed the doubters his middle finger again. He's still doing it, and better than ever. One of the greatest in my opinion like Green, Hendrix he has a tone that identifies him and he channels his emotion through his playing.

Slash is known for rock, but he is one of the best blues guitarist around Just awesome!!
racyrick1 No. Just no.
Yes, actually he is
100% yes...
Erik Morelli did you read racyrick1 comment properly...he wrote 'ONE OF THE' best blues guitarist around...not 'THE ONLY'!
Slash is good, but SRV
This reminds me Since I've Been Loving You of Led Zeppelin
Slash in blues is particularly emotional a pure divine symphony ❤❤❤❤
Thank you Slash I am not ashamed to say I cried during this masterpiece, it's the music that should rule the world, not money, all would be peace, thank you again and again it was a Eargasm
Fff Rrrt fuckin' great right?
Slash gives me goosebumps and I hate when people say he is overrated
:)
The solo of Hartford, Civic Center 93 is perfect for that purpose, the eargasm....
I don't know what's dropping more tears, me or that gibson
Of course he can play blues. He always says blues is the basic for rock and roll and styles like that. Unbelieveble how good.

The best blues I've heard so far! Full of soul!
Never listened to Guns n Roses. Thought Slash was just another shredder. This stunning, incredible, performance has put me right.
He's awesome, check out the solos he did on a song called Street Child, was a track by a chick called Elan
@@FirearmsGunGear best solo from slash i think. Masterpiece
Slash is the most underrated player ever, guns and roses are my favourite band, so much more to them that meaningless noise
Guns N' Roses is one of the best bands out there. Check them out!
He never was just another shredder was more of a bluesy classic rock player compared to other 80s guy

For those still wondering about the chord sequence and scale i think it's this.
Tuning- E flat
Key- Gm
Scale- Gm pentatonic blues, throwing in notes from G natural minor
12 bar chord sequence:
Cm, Gm, Cm, Gm, D#7, D7, D#7, D7, Gm, Cm, Gm, D7#9
Slash - the master at seamlessly blending the harmonic and pentatonic minor scales together

+Hacked Tutorials It's not the blues, it's one kind of blues.
For the blues go check lightnin hopkins or charley patton.
+taurtue coincidentally those are also one type of blues. as is every piece of blues. pull the blues stick out your ass. just bc he's predominantly rock doesn't mean he can't play.
